My friend’s name is 12 Gauge Riot Gun. He might prevent some of that at my house.

  • I don’t hold with desecrating the Flag but it is his right. However there is something I don’t really get about this story:
Didi the ACLU file suit because the DA dismissed the charges and they just wanted publicity or did they file suit because the law wasn’t being enforced and they wanted publicity? After all, since the charges were dropped because the DA believed that the law wouldn’t withstand a legal challenge, so why exactly was a suit filed? Also, why did the judge bother to even let the suit go forward? Why not just dismiss the suit and issue an injunction blocking the law? It seems to me that all this is about political grandstanding and wasting tax payer money.

  • As a Wireless Communications Technician I can say that you should think before you speak! It’s only partly about the RF power output. What frequency are they running at? What is the intermediate frequency? What gain antenna is used? What is the actual duration of the transmission? What is the bleed over into the AC power? AC and RF really like to interfere with each other. Are they transmitting down the power lines or into the open air. All of these are factors. If they‘re using the unlicensed bands then they’re transmitting on 900 MHZ, 2.4 GHZ or 5.7 GHZ. All of those frequencies are harmful in long duration exposures with the higher frequencies being worse than the lower ones. While you can’t “flash cook” a turkey at 5.7 gig, if it is bleeding over into your household circuit then people with the meters do face long term constant RF exposure that could cause health problems.

  • Have to disagree. I hate the AR-15 / M-16. Eight years of carrying one in the Army soured me. I’ve never shot a rifle that prone to jamming before or since. The A1 I started out with was horrible for jamming. Also the sights were garbage. The A2 was a little better. It did jam but not nearly as often. Also the sights were a lot better.
All in all, I would take either an M1 Garand or the M1A to reach out and a Mossberg 590 for up close.

  • I thank God every single day that I’m no longer in a union. between the entitlement mentality of many of the union workers and the massive amount of corruption even at the local level. Can you believe that the union leadership actually bragged about raising our dues so they could have a better convention (paid vacation) in Las Vegas. During union elections, the votes were always “adjusted” to keep the same corrupt leaders in charge.
When the company I worked for laid off all the workers the union sued for back profit sharing. The suit was dropped after all the union leadership got their jobs back.
And don‘t even tell me that that’s an isolated incident. We all know that the unions are just one big socialist scam. The workers are forced to pay bullies and thugs for the privilege of having a job. The union bosses get rich on the backs of the workers and the liberals do all they can to keep the cycle going. This cycle continues until the company stuck with the union has to close it‘s doors because they can’t afford to operate anymore. It’s happened all over this country with the private sector, now it’s starting to hit the state and federal governments.
remember that when you‘re shown the door with nothing to show for it and your union bosses retire with the millions they’ve taken from you and your fellow employees.
