  I think he was talking about Palin’s “map” of candidates to defeat in 2010. However, the democrats also had their “map”, and it had targets with bull’s eyes on candidates to defeat in 2010. But, I suppose it’s all right for dems, but not conservatives! Dupnik has always been nuts. He’s been in law enforcement for 40 – 50 years TOO LONG!

  I won’t defend Dupnik, ever, because he made Pima County a sanctuary county for illegals, but I can‘t support the statement that a deputy should have been present at Gifford’s ‘meeting’. Because of revenue problems in Arizona, law enforcement on all levels are at bare bones numbers. The deputies just can’t be everywhere at any given time. Private security, maybe, but one really can‘t expect the sheriff’s department (any sheriff’s department) to anticipate this kind of violence at a given moment. Here in Pinal County, AZ, one of our state representatives was badly beaten on Christmas Day. Couldn’t anticipate that, either.
