  • The question isn’t in respect to his citizenship status, but rather whether or not he is a “natural born citizen”. The Constitution is clear that naturalized citizens are not eligible to hold the office of President, a stipulation added out of fear that the British could simply run a presidential candidate and regain control of the colonies. One needs only be a citizen to be a congressman or representative or just about any other office, but the presidency requires a “natural born” citizen. There is some confusion over just what that term means, as it’s not clearly defined in the Constitution (which I believe it should be), but the common usage of the term at the time was that it meant you be born within the country.

  • I don’t give a rip what the race of the victim is. Would it somehow be less barbaric if it was black on black or black on hispanic or hispanic on black or whatever? What I’m saying is that you just simply do NOT see roving gangs of barbarians randomly beating people out in the suburbs or any other “white” neighborhoods. And again, it has diddly-squat to do with race, but everything to do with culture. In the urban areas, with heavily black and hispanic populations, the culture says that sucker punching a guy and beating him half to death is cool stuff.

And half the problem is the reactions of people like you. When faced with a culture that’s declined to an almost Road Warrior level of savagery, you’d rather just point and say “but but but, white people can be mean too” than actually confront the reality that there’s a REAL BIG PROBLEM with the urban black culture in this country. It never gets fixed because white people can’t fix it, we’re called racists just for pointing it out, and black people just seem to whistle and look the other way, or actively make excuses.

  • It’s not about race, it’s about culture. Yes, people of any race or ethnicity can make that slide down from civilization to savagery. Unfortunately, in this country, a pretty hefty chunk of the urban black culture has slipped pretty far down that slide. Are you ok with that? Are you ok with the road that black culture has gone down? Or does pointing and saying “you know, whites can be mean too” just make it all go away?

  • If found, they should all be shot. Oh I‘m sure they’d all be given their state-approved slap on the wrist, after all they’re disadvantaged minorities, I’m sure. I for one am tired of having to sit back and just accept this kind of inhuman savagery from our fellow citizens. Just put a bullet in them and be done with it, the world will be a better place.

  • Huh? So you admit that helicopter parents have screwed up their children’s immune systems, and yet in the same post you’re saying “no child of mine will ever ever play in one of those.”

    Am I missing something?

  • Good grief, who cares? OMG someone’s precious little angel might contact a germ! A few generations from now everyone will be the boy in the bubble. When I was a kid back in the 70′s we used to have a blast exploring storm sewer tunnels and the local garbage dump was just a treasure trove of cool stuff to unearth. And guess what, I get sick less than practically anyone I know. Imagine that!

  • So how long before a bunch of lazy unemployed college kids decide to occupy this?

  • MR_ANDERSON: no they weren’t, and ED_KEL is exactly right.

  • Ia! Ia! Cthulhu Fhtagn! In his house at R’lyeh dead Cthulhu waits dreaming.

  • Why does this guy never wear a tie? People used to complain about Bush looking “too casual” during his speeches, but now we have a clown who can’t be bothered to even wear a tie.
