  • Mr. Brown, ummm, silly me but I most outraged about the punch in the face and theft..the rest is just disturbing. I live just outside Baltimore City, (about 1/4 mile) and almost never go into the city out of fear. Am I a racist, nope, but the almost 100 years of Democrat party rule has done nothing to help the schools or crime in the city. Very sad as both of my husbands parents grew up there and did my mother. I hope they arrest them all, if they find them.

  • Bornagaincowgirl, We are simpatico!! Bravo, well said. When ya live in MD you have to give till it hurts. This is one time I’m happy about what Obama said…pop that bubble of a head on O‘Malley’s shoulders

  • Martin O’Malley is one of those “in name only” Catholics. A few years back (after the birth of his 4th child) before HIPA our “Gov” had a vasectomy on the down low in a local hospital and I have it on high authority he was an ass during his brief time as a patient. Time for me to go to confession…gossip….and as the saying goes Obama, O’Malley, O Sh$t!!

  • It may be just a statue to you but as a Catholic it is very much more to me. Maybe you don’t believe and that is OK. Perhaps there is something that is extremely important to you, very close to your heart and it might be a thing, maybe a gift someone gave you, something from someone you loved. Well that is how we Catholics look on a statue of Jesus or his mother or any saint. A gift from someone they love and they are saddened and emotional when that thing is destroyed when it meant nothing to the person destroying it.

Everyone else who keeps talking about Catholics worshiping idols….um, we don’t. We venerate them, they are holy reminders of God in all his glory. Why is it that the Catholic Church is the one religion that everyone, no matter what their religion or if they have no belief at all feel perfectly at ease to condemn, criticize or vandalize. I guess when folks are referring to Catholicism…..bigotry is OK.
I sorry for the parishioners that lost a beautiful statue which obviously meant so much to them.

  • I agree this seems a weird story to post, cause, gosh I’ve never seen a weird story on The Blaze. He is a homosexual and has chosen not to have sex….for 29 years and he’s being made fun of?? If it’s having homosexual sex that makes him deviant to many, then why if he’s not is he not acceptable? Damned if you do, damned if ya don’t. Perhaps he can serve as an example for other homosexuals that there is a fulfilling life without sex, or to straight folks as well. This is a hyper sexual world coming at us through just about every medium and I think a pretty inwardly focused world. I for one am happy to know there is someone out there that isn’t constantly fixated on their own physical satisfaction. What‘s he doing that’s wrong…working, paying taxes, encouraging others and generally being a positive contributing member of society. “Make it work”

  • @mrovw
Serious question….why do many (at least the ones I read on comment sections) atheists seem to dislike, hate, resent, I’m not sure of the correct word people that believe in God? Why do they care what others believe and why do atheists always use such harsh and at times vulgar language when responding to or speaking about “believers”? Wondering

  • Your name scares me….not the lesbian part, the hollow points part. Unless your calling your comments hollow points, then I’m OK with your name. As to your comment I believe Christians on The Blaze probably have other more important concerns.

  • Butkis, I’m thinking you have no teenage boys, never been around teenage boys or ever been a teenage boy. Call of Duty or whatever game becomes an obsession as they r competing with themselves, others or the game itself. I have 3 teenage boys, calm, good natured, but it takes at least 3 times to get them to stop playing and it can make them angry and they know they are wrong. The kid killed his gg grandmother for Gods sake. Blame him.
