  how about the tax on chicks across the BC Washingtom border,,the tax them as being improved if they go across the border to be “sexed” and then returned,,they are worth more,if you kno what sex they are.A friend of mine in the Cab business used a new motor as a write off on income tax,,the government argued that he “improved the value” of a taxi with over 300,000 miles on it,,Go Figure !
