  • Listening to Dr. Hill and Bill O Rielly debating the issues of the day brings back such fond memories of my youth. You can tell when Dr. Hill is getting excited by the speed at which he begins to speak. I’m brought back to a time sitting in front of our black and white TV watching Amos “N” Andy with O’Rielly being the Kingfish and Dr. Hill as the excitable attorney, Algonquin J. Calhoun. I defy any baby boomer to tell me I’m wrong. Did anyone ask Dr. Hill if he meant PHAT and not fat?

    In reply to Derfel Cadarn.

You are right on the money, my brother. I urge you to go to UnionFacts.com and read about the ULLICO scam. I gaurantee it will reinforce your convictions.

  • Anyone interested in seeing a perfect example of the honesty and sincerety of our labor leaders and their commitment to the well being of the rank and file not to mention the Country, just visit UnionFacts.com and read about the ULLICO scam and let me know if it doesn’t choke you up.

  • Totally uncalled for. The President never heard an anti American Sermon from Rev. Wright in 20 years in church. Bill Ayres was only “a guy” he knew from the neighborhood. The Stimulus Bill would keep unemployment at 8%. The HC debates would be televised and we would have 5 days to review every bill on line before signing. The President said he would go over every bill line by line to eliminate earmarks, except for the $472B dollar Omnibus Bill which contained some 9000 of them. He admitted in an early interview that he was, in fact, a proponent of a single payer HC plan. So calling him a liar is something that anyone paying close attention for the last 20 months already knows. Excuse me, for the purpose of pollitical correctness, The fella should have shouted Mr. President, your being disengenuous.

  • One of our Founders once said that the greatest threat to the Republic is an uneducated electorate. This clown is a prime example of what they meant. He is an embarassment to himself, his elected position and more important, to the people of Florida.

  • Hilary Shelton of the NAACP was complaining about several signs at the Tea Party rallies, referring to them as being problematic. I haven‘t heard a word from his organization about this character’s inspirational rhetoric. Maybe they are to busy preparing to march alongside the Communist Party this weekend.

  • As a grandfather, my only fear is that my grandchildren could grow up in a country with the likes of Van Jones in a policy making capacity. Being retired, I have had the opportunity to closely follow the Tea Party Movement from its infancy. Speaker Pelosi initially referred to it has astro turf. As it began to gain momentum the left said its members were predominately red necks, the elderly and the uneducated. Last week, in an interview, Bill Clinton said the Tea Party members were some of the wealthier Americans, a feeble attempt at class warfare. You can plainly see how their strategy has changed as the movement has grown. Van Jones was giving fiery speeches when Obama’s job approval rating was high. Now that it’s sinking faster then the Titanic, he‘s as meek and mild as my Aunt Kate’s 15 year old Tabby. I’d like to give Bill, Barack, Nancy and the rest of the Progressives, Socialists and Marxists in the administration the same advice my father gave to me, that is, ” be careful, the toes you step on today, may be connected to the backside you have to kiss tomorrow.

  • Come on folks, all Progressives think alike. Does Speaker Pelosi have the same speech writer as the President ? She also made the same miscue in one of her speeches. I’ve heard that quote time and again from politicians throughout the years, but they never recite the last sentence of that paragraph which says, ” That to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed.” Get it, the governed, us, the people, not the politicians. Either, the present Washington elite haven’t read that sentence or have gotten it ass backwards, but the time has come to remind them that we get our rights from a higher being while the only authority they have comes from us.

Perhaps a mere oversight or lapse of memory, but if my memory serves me, Speaker Pelosi mistakenly omitted “ by their Creator” several months ago in one of her speeches. Progressives, stateist or whatever they call themselves these days have difficulty with the idea that our rights come from someone other then them.
