  • This child obviously has issues. The problem here is that he was in a regular school to begin with. I don’t blame the parents for his behavior and beating him him, although sounds like what he needs, is not going to change his behavior. The real problem lies in the fact that we continue to try and treat children with mental problems as “regular” children by assimilating them into regular classrooms. The cops may have gone a little overboard with pepper spraying an 8 year old when they could have restrained him physically, but since I wasn’t there I will assume they responded in the best way they could under the circumstances. Pepper spray was probably safer since physical restraint could have also called the child physical harm. Pepper spray may burn like a b*&^h, but it will wear off after a little while with no side effects.

  • This sort of thing does happen a lot. People are killed, maimed or injured all the time from debris on highways. I don’t know if this video is real or not, but the tragedies that do happen are very real. You don’t really have to be going that fast either. If you‘re going 35 or 40 MPH and run into a flying 2×4 it’s going to come through the windshield.

  • I agree. Phones and laptops are not necessary in a class. A pen and paper are all you need to take notes. If you want to put them on a computer then do it after class.

  • Surely you are kidding. This young lady was being completely disrespectful. If updating her facebook page or surfing the web is more important than listening to her professor, then she should have skipped class. This is just unbelievable. This child needs to have her butt whipped by her parents for being so inconsiderate!
