  If he just went inside, he’d have been shot in the back. I don‘t think I’d turn my back on a group of thugs.

  And you’re right… we don’t know all of the details. He’s a 21 yo college student. Maybe he refused because he didn’t have any money. But even if he did have some cash, he may have refused because it’s his and he needs to eat. No matter what his reason, he has a right to refuse to be robbed and to defend himself when shot at. I think this was about much, much more than “green paper”.

  This is what I am thinking, too. Sales should be the determining factor on this shirt. It’s not vulgar or racist or “phobic”. If it sells, great! If not, drop it. I would have my girls pass on it, but others should be able to buy it if they want. Too bad they caved in to these folks.

  Ookspay, I wondered the same thing, but he is not homeschooled. He goes to Davidson Academy, a school for exceptionally gifted students. Here is their eligibility requirement:

  *Eligible candidates have SAT, ACT or IQ scores in the top 1/10th of 1%, and perform academically at the middle or high school level.

  He is concurrently attending University of Nevada, Reno.

  Stoic One, because the elder deceased may have had siblings, nieces, and nephews and the younger may have children as well. Unless they were all only children and the son had no children, there could be people for whom a genetic connection could be a concern.
