  Hey Carl_in_Ohio, you may want to take into consideration my entire post…not just the little bit you thought you had an argument for. I never said there isnt value to the old hymns or worship style. And yes…one can alienate another by playing head banging music. It is not for everyone, obviously…but you limit God by dictating that only one style is the way to have a relationship. You also offend by demanding that everyone worships the way you like to. And by the comments….especially the early ones…I can see that too many are judging by outward appearance.

  The church may have “survived” hundreds of years…but that’s about it. Look at our society and the condition of our young people. We are supposed to flourish…NOT just get by. If you are happy doing that then that is just fine. I , however prefer to see our up and coming generations grabbing a hold of the Word and changing other’s lives.

  Oh thee who is all knowing….you‘d be surprised how God can use a group like this to touch someone’s heart and bring them to Himself. Get over it mr/ms. judgemental.

  So yeah….people are dying and goinbg to hell and some of you are going to argue whether the music is too loud. Very nice. I guess the only true Christians sing songs from the ol hymnals.

  I think you may be a little surprised when you stand before the Father and Jesus says He never knew you….the Bible talks clearly about those who think they are “saved” who are actually in deception. Before you condemn others for their mode of worship you had better look at yourselves.

  I have been involved with young people for quite some time and I don’t care how it comes across to you…some of these “loud, obnoxious, head banging, alternative” groups have THE most awesome, sincere and godly people ministering to others via this medium.

  So instead of instantly critisizing the fact that this ain‘t yer grandma’s church music…go out and love on those who are attracted to this…go and see for yourself the young people who are turning to God because someone bothered to reach them through a medium they can understand and relate to. Till then you may want to shut thy gob before you turn more people away from Christ !!

  I can barely afford to go to the doctor if I had to…no insurance. I have my own business and work a part time job 20 hours a week. I drive a used paid for vehicle and own my home. The only bills I have are my month to month. I heat with a woodstove because I can’t afford the electric heat. My daughter goes to college across the country and I pay for it out of pocket…no loans and no grants. Hopefully I wont need any kind of major medical care because I would not be able to pay for it. That being said…I would NEVER want to see obamacare come into fruition. God help us all if we dont take back the power we’ve given to this government.

  A chance at life? Now it is in the sytem. It will be given to a foster family and then when mom has attacks of guilt frequently throug hthe years the court will give it back to her till she can’t handle it anymore…then it will be given to another home…then when mom feels righteous indignation at not having her child she will take the family to court to have visitation and custody returned…and so on….
