  @ethicsgirl — US Chamber of Commerce, despite its name, is and has always been a lobying organization for the GOP and is not a federal agency. I’m pretty sure that counts as right-wing.

  @contrarian — Obama’s direct contributions are available to the public, as per law. The issue here is that the SCOTUS ruled that third-party organizations don’t need to reveal their donors. So the US CoC doesn’t have to tell who gave what money. I‘m sure it’s all on the up-and-up and they hae nothing to hide, so they will open thier books to outside auditors, right?
