Oh, yes, I‘ve read the Qur’an, too…and the Bible. Actual study is a good way to come to a true understanding of others’ beliefs.

  I speak a number of languages, including Arabic and Russian, because I’ve done business all over the world. So what? I’m a true-blue American, faithful to my country and my Constitution. I was in the Marine Corps, and I’ll defend the Constitution to the end. Shut up about the fact that he speaks French. He’s running for President. Nobody’s stopping you from voting for yourself, Newt. What other languages do you speak? It might help you understand foreign relations. I think it’s an advantage for Mitt.

  I know that Mormons are some of the greatest defenders of the Constitution, Harry Reid excluded. I don’t care about his religion, just as I don’t mind voting for a Catholic or a Jew or an evangelical Christian. As long as they love the country, and are willing to defend the Constitution, I’ll vote for any of them.
