  • Bill Ayers: ‘I Get Up Every Morning and Think…Today I‘m Going to End Capitalism…. and then I surf the ‘net for a while on my iPhone… LOVE eBay!!!… brush my teeth [only Crest works for me]… put on my “cool professor” duds– Levi’s and Tweet jacket… real thing, imported from Scotland and made from organic wool, expensive as h3ll but looks great… stop by Starbucks on the way to work for a Mocha Cafe Grande…. Where was I? Oh, yeah, I’m gonna end Capitalism…..”

  • As a writer (and seller) of indie ebooks, I was concerned about this. Not because I write vile garbage like that (quite the opposite; the vast majority of what I write is family-friendly), but because of how it could be implemented.

We’ve seen it all over this country; some law or rule that is imposed in the extreme, like “no drugs” in school getting kids kicked out because they have an unauthorized Advil. Too many people (I think simply because they’re on a power trip) impose the letter of the law, not the spirit of the law. I have a short story reprinted in one of my ebooks called “Ten Gallons a [sounds like Hoard].” Other than the title, it’s tame and barely PG-13, but I can easliy see some bureacratic type labelling it in some way that it ends up grouped with vile works.

PayPal has the right to run their company the way they see fit. And if they don’t want to be connected to such material, that’s their right (and quite admirable). But I recommend they use a method akin to what is used here at The Blaze. A “report” button. Then PayPal can decide if that work is the type of material they want to be used for.

  • Thanks. I go forth with your words of encouragement. The worst that can happen is they say no (which I’m already getting, so nothing new there).

  • What about individuals who don’t have a “bricks and mortar” business but something virtual or are creating a product at home? Can we “sign up” too?

  • It‘s gravitational theory and it’s part of Newton’s Laws… which had some flaws in it until Einstein solved them with his theory of relativity. So 200 years of a flawed theory of gravity.

I have studied evolution extensively and it doesn’t conflict with my belief in God, Christ, or the Bible. To God, we are as children, and I am not so full of myself to think God needs to explain Himself to me or explain what mechanism He used to create the universe. The Bible is the Word of God, but that‘s doesn’t mean He didn’t choose to leave some bits out. In all my studies of evolution, astronomy, Big Bang theory, etc., I still see the fingerprint of God in it all (much to the annoyance of atheists). And it is still wonderous to behold! We are finite beings trying to comprehend the infinite, and we can never know the whys and hows of God, try though we might. And I am content with that, for there is as much joy in the questions as in the answers. More so, perhaps.

But Dawkins… I’ve read him too. And he’s an idiot.

  • How are chicken nuggets a “healthy lunch”? Is this the same USDA that has determined French Fries are a vegetable? If these are examples of what the State thinks is “appropriate” for lunch, no wonder the kids are getting fat. For the health of our kids and ourselves, we should all go back to brown bagging it and tell the State to shove it.

  • My dreams always involved my children. Who decided a woman’s dreams had to be the same as a mans? And for that matter, who decided a man‘s dreams can’t involve their children?

  • I’m so sick and tired of this “courageous decision” garbage. This decision was “a no-brainer.” Anyone could have made this decision. I could have made that decision. A 12-year-old could’ve made that decision. Obama is not a hero for saying “yes.” But the men and women who did the hard work are. Obama’s “courageous decision” is nothing compared to them and all they do. Bravo to the men and women, both on the front lines and in offices, military and civilian, who work so hard to defend this country from those who would destroy it.

  • Scare tactic to get the useful idiots to pay up

  • Woo Hoo!!!
