  • To stay in touch with friends and family.

  • Facebook didn’t kill anyone.
It is simply a tool for communication.
    Is your telephone evil?
    Is your pencil evil?
    Is a notebook evil?

Give it just a little more thought, you can do it…
Don’t be so simple minded or superficial with your thought processes here…
Facebook didn’t do anything other than exist…
It was a person with an emotional problem who caused grief for others…
It was this persons father who obviously had mental problems who murdered others….
Don’t blame what was not at fault, or was not responsible… that makes no sense at all…
Place the blame on those who’s responsibility and fault for this tragedy it was…
They can and will be prosecuted…
Stop making such irrational statements and stop blaming inanimate objects for actions they are incapable of making.

  • These people have a problem with what exactly?
    Being told they shouldn’t -

    Lie
    Steal
    Murder
    Commit Adultery
    Desire their neighbors possessions (covet)
    Speak ill of God

Really? Too bad. I don’t want their immorality forced upon me, my neighbors, or my children.

They claim to be for “freedom from religion” but they do not go after any other religion than
the Christian faith. They are liars and deceivers. They are immoral and seek to corrupt others
as THEIR beliefs lead them to. A moral people has every right to stand up to such evil, to speak
out against it, to stop it, and to expose it wherever it rears its ugly head.

  • Crestof – read the article again. It says they claimed he was “babbling incoherently” because he repeatedly tried to tell him he was a Navy SEAL, which they did not believe. It was their lack of belief which was the problem, not his attempt to explain that he was a Navy SEAL.

What you have here is a typical case of copspeak. As such, it is no reflection on Shaun Day’s character or state of mind whatsoever. It has everything to do with the police’s version of what happened, their predisposition to victimize those who they can, and their attempt to rationalize and fabricate an explanation for their behaviour which was found to be totally out of line in the end. Period.

  • Clips, Magazines, we all know what the writer meant, don’t we? Stop nitpicking about such unimportant trivia… just who’s calling who a moron here… the point is the man who is a member of our elite armed forces was disbelieved, dishonored, labeled as crazy, marginalized, and sent to a psyche ward by some of NYC’s finest… and released when Navy staff officers arrived and rectified the absymal situation, retrieving the soldier from the clutches of Bloombergs thugs in blue.

  • GPS-Tech – The SEAL, Shaun Day, was not a vet. The article states that he was on leave.
Also, there was no mention of PTSD in the article either. The only reference to PTSD that has been made on this site that I’ve come across, aside from yours, was in a comment someone made, and that reference was simply sarcasm.

  • Captain Crunch – Think about it for one sec. You think they pulled him over because he was babbling incoherently?

First of all, that makes no sense at all. How could they possibly know what might have been coming out of his mouth until they pulled him over? Second of all, that’s not what the article says. It says they pulled him over for going through a red light. Period. Got it?

Once they had him pulled over the article says they claimed he was babbling incoherently because… ready for it…? because he was saying he was a navy seal, which they didn’t believe because they expected him to have some kind of Navy Seal ID he could wave in their face, which he didn’t have, being, as he said, undercover. Their lack of willingness to believe him is what got him labeled as babbling incoherently. This is nothing more than typical cop speak. Are you really that unfamiliar?

In NYC any story a cop can’t understand or refuses to believe can get you an express ride to Bellevue. It has less to do with the person arrested than with the particular cop they end up with in a high percentage of cases. Any cop can claim you weren’t making any sense and send you to Bellevue on any given day.

…and no, three clips is in no way excessive or an indication that he was looking for trouble at all. If anything it shows he was prepared for trouble, should it arise, and if anything, underprepared in my estimation… he’s a SEAL, for pete’s sake.

  • What started it…? “Orthodox and Armenian clerics clashed in a dispute over the boundaries of their respective jurisdictions inside the church”

They share the church during the holiday season, having sections assigned to them. This foments “turf wars” like this when someone thinks their territory has been invaded by someone from another group.

  • @GETLIFE – The name of the book she’s holding is “Sharia in America”

The principle of lying in order to advance Islam is “al-Taqqiya“ or simply ”Taqqiya”.
The Qur’an instucts Muslims to lie in order to deceive their enemies, which is anyone who does not follow Muhammad’s teachings. It teaches that Allah is the greatest deceiver of all. In the Bible, the great deceiver is identified as Satan. Every activity that the Qur’an promotes, murder, lying, oppression, enslavement, etc. is identified in the bible as being from the father of lies, whom these people call Allah, but is identified as Satan.

If anyone takes the time to find out what the Qur’an actually teaches and instructs its followers to do, will find that Islam is the religion of Satan, and Allah is the God of murder, promoting honor killings, beheadings, stonings, as well as dismemberment, all commonly performed by followers with impunity under Sharia.

  • Sure sounds like you’re talking about Athiests there, Eliasim… those who worship “the mechanism”, who don’t know or have a loving relationship with God himself…

the “you people” you speak of certainly aren’t we, Christian, people, by your very own description… if they don’t know, don’t worship, don’t have a relationship with the creator of heaven and earth and designer of man and the angels, then who are they but Athiests and those who know not our Christian God…?
