  • There’s way more access to news reports about these kinds of illnesses not to mention better diagnosis. I don’t think they are increasing, just being reported on more. God bless this family and give them all the strength to continue their fight.

  • @ CatB

Get out of my brain! I was just imagining that scenario in the shower this morning!

  • Love. LOVE that line and episode! +10

  • Elke’s story is real. My mom was born in 1942 in what would become southern East Germany. My grandfather was captured by the British and knew the Russians were already in the village where my family lived. Through a friend he was able to give a West German address once he was cleared for release after the war. On my mother’s 6th birthday my grandmother, two aunts, an uncle and my mom walked across an unsecured, rural area of the East-West border with only what they could carry. She grew up on that border further north along the Elbe river. She met my dad in 1969 who was lucky to serve there during Vietnam. My mom’s oldest sister, 20 at the time they crossed, returned and lived in East Germany. I visited Germany in 1980 and we traveled to the east. My father made a point of pointing out how wrecked the buildings looked. If paint was even available no one could afford it. We returned in 1994, 5 years after reunification. The contrast was startling. You either saw 1930′s era or earlier structures, which were dilapidated, or you saw brand, spanking new structures built within the last 5 years. Driving through villages, you could tell which had new sewer systems and which still had the Nazi-era systems. The new villages had concrete paved streets and the latter still had cobblestone streets. I will never forget how depressing it was in the East and will raise my daughter to understand the oppression of collectivism. My mother became a US citizen in 1981 after her parents passe

  • You couldn’t have trusted their answers to those questions at any rate. Aren’t they encouraged to bold-fced lie to infidels?

  • Another great example is Planned Parenthood’s infiltrtion of Girl Scouts.

  • I grew up in and left Lincoln Park, MI. I can personally say that Amanda Clayton’s thinking is the majority thought of most people in Lincoln Park and the surrounding communities. I hope legislation to prevent this passes the legislature but Michigan republicans, who control both houses and the governorship, are really democrats-lite. If I didn‘t owe three times what my house is worth I’d be outta here so fast. Jealous of you, CatB! ;] Michigan is a nice place to visit but I wouldn’t want to live here!

  • @Amazing.. You’re talking about flight 255. It crashed two miles from where I now live on August 16th, 1987. I was 14 at the time. Cecelia Cihan (sp?) was her name. She was four years old. Her mother cocooned her as the plane went down. She lost her mom, dad and brother along with everyone else on the plane that day and several people driving on the road where it crashed. Her grandparents identified her by the purple nail polish she was wearing (they brought the bottle with them to the hospital). Cecelia grew up in Alabama with an aunt and uncle. There’s a memorial at the spot where the plane went down. I’ll never forget that tragedy.

  • They self-pseudo-spay themselves. Find out about who uses Planned Parenthood’s abortive services.

  • I worked at Kinko’s way back and we had a card program for frequent customers. To avoid fraud we had little stamps made up with a “k”. I was the only one to ask, “What happens when they get three stamps and have a ”kkk” card in their wallet?” The program was discontinued.
