  May I say I disagree with the legal experts. Freedom of speech is one thing. If he had satirically written that she was having sex with Obama then I would not balk. However, not only will this photo float around the web forever, it will not have that little note attached saying “hey, I’m not real.” The written word is ease to dispell on the web, a photo is not. This needs to go to court, photoshopping is getting out of hand everywhere. In the mid-90′s I had to take the ex-wife out of a photo because the official wanted it. What happens when government starts doing this to official photos…it alters history.

  What if someone uses an altered photo as “proof” they were somewhere else when a crime occured. Who would know? Time will tell.

  As a quasi religious individual, might I point out all that the “intelligent” among us have brought to the table..weapons, bombs, a-bomb, pollution, wasn’t it the medical field that stated homosexuality was a mental disease, let us not forget frivolous lawsuits by lawyers, idiotic laws by politicians, education practices that are tearing apart our education system.

  Ah, yes, intelligence always has the answers.

  Off topic…sort of…

  Loved the SciFi channel…ever since NBC(?) bought it out all there is is ghost hunters, monster men, WWF wrestling, etc…I don’t quite get their definition of scifi? Then, check out the travel channel some time…same thing. Reality tv will be the death of us.

  Maybe you should try reading the article. It is a dinner. The invited guests have no choice on who the comic is…so they can just say no…as Gretta did. Perhaps at some point in time liberals will get the hint that conservatives are not putting up with the crap anymore.
