  You got that right UF…I have 5 kids in the house, so needless to say I was up all night with James Spann. He and his team do a great job, there are never commercial breaks as long as any county is on warning. They call out all the names of the towns in the projected path of the storm. They instruct people constantly on what to do. I started watching at midnight and the torndao past my area around 2:30am and we were ready far in advance. If it weren’t for James Spann and other news cast down here, many, many more would have died on April 27th. They had the tornado live on his program until the camera’s went blank. Diane owes James and all our local news teams and meterorologist a huge apology, they are responsible for saving an untold number of lives every year. She should be ashamed of herself for reporting such crap.

  Actually, he doesn’t. Newt was not fined, but volunteerily helped pay the cost for the letter he signed by his lawyer which he himself asked his fellow Republicans to “find him quilty” of to end all the bs violations the Dems had on him. What was it like 84 violations and he was cleared of 83, and gave up fighting on the last one to get back to governing. I hate how history is constantly re-written in this country. And when Newt gets the nomination, Christy just gave the Obama admin a nice commercial….good job Chris, add to the lies that Obama will be more than happy to pursue.

  Why do they always have to pick on the South? Let me tell you something Washington, here in Alabama we had a Democrat Congress for 136 years and our districts for all those years favored Democrats. I have had a black liberal as my Congressperson for a long time, even though the area I live in is about 70% conservative. They drew the lines to include quite a few heavily minority small towns surrounding us. If our electoral districts were a puzzle it would take one hours to fit it together they are so crazy and zig zaggy. It’s ridiculous. So the next time I hear the south favors conservatives and whites and leaves out minorites, I will scream. It is a big fat lie!!! Overall Alabama picks Republican Senators, but our Representatives to DC and our state congress have leaned Democratic til 2010. I hope they will fix all the bs gerrymanderng that has been going on for far too long down here.

  Bodybag, great link, thanks. I decided to go with Newt a couple of months ago and the more I learn, the more I like, but it isn’t easy to get others to see my point of view all the time. This article will help in my fight. It is past time to kill political correctness in DC and turn this country around and I think Newt is the man to do it, not ‘ready to go along’ Romney.

  Probably rigt MS-Glennbc..my husband and I are so disappointed in him right now. He always says don‘t go with the establisment candidate and don’t let the media pick the candidate. Do your own homework and all that, and then he trashes Newt at every turn and favors RINO Romney, it’s disgusting. I may cancel my GBTV over it, I am very disappointed. He keeps calling him a progressive and I heard he even called him a facist, I don’t see it. He may have some ideas I don’t agree with, but there are way more I do. And many of his ideas are bold and practical. I would like to get rid of the Fed, but come on, does anyone think that can happen overnight? Really? He has ideas to take away alot of it’s power and audit, that is a good start. I don’t want to just fall for someone saying what I want to hear, I want to hear what someone is saying that know can be accomplished. I think he can stop a lot of the things wrong, like Obamacare and Frank/Dodd and start the engine turning around to get us back on the right track. I didn’t even use to like Newt too much, but the more I see and learn, the more he wins me over. Romney, I just have a strong gut feeling about, like I did Obama and Bush and McCain and I was right.

  Congressman Paul called the occupants at Quantanamo Bay “suspects” not terrorist…really? I always agreed with some of his things, but he is way out there on some others, this being one. They were enemy combatants as least, not just suspects.

  Do like I do, go to so many different stes, you confuse the hell out of them. I go to sites and research stuff just for fun. If it weren’t for my facebook post they might think me a liberal, haha. Good luck targeting me on advertising. I have only been back on line for less than a year, may decided to go off the grid again. Use to just have pre paid cell, no house phone, no cable. SO, to go back there would be no big deal. I only wanted to get back on line to fight the progressives and try to help spread the truth of our history and what these losers have been doing to us. But, if it all went away tomarrow, that would be alright too, I have thousands of books to occupy my free time.

  Yes, it is nice seeing gas down to $3.14 this week here in Tuscaloosa, Al. But, still it is way overpriced. The cost per barrel of oil drops far quicker than the price per gallon. Its time to drill here, now. And not just for the cost per gallon, but for security reasons, when is Washington ever gonna get that.
