  Four minutes of my life I’ll never get back. How in blazes does a guy who supposedly uses words for a living take that long to say NOTHING?! “I could have phrased it better” is what he was trying to spit out. Admit it, he was in such a hurry to bash Santorum he didn’t get his thoughts together.

  The Navy SEALs began in 1962 under orders of JFK. Jesse Ventura was a Navy frogman, trained in underwater demolition. I’m sure it was a tough gig, and I salute him for his service.

  BUT, Ventura was never a SEAL. If he had a spine he’d correct anyone who called him a SEAL, but he lets it slide.

  According to Wiki, the UDT merged into the SEAL program in 1983 – eight years after Ventura left the service. So, we may be splitting hairs here.

  Think of it the same was as people refer to the Air Force in WWII. We didn’t have an Air Force then, we had the Army Air Corps which became the Air Force later.

  I think it is pretty cheesy of Ventura to NOT correct people when they call him a SEAL.

  9/11 was planned and began under Clinton’s watch. The economic meltdown was engineered in part by the lack of response from the Dems in Congress. Our spending went out of control when Pelosi got the gavel.

  Don’t get me wrong, W made some mistakes, some small, some really big.

  But get your head out of the sand Randy Rocker.

  Yeah, I seriously appreciate George and Laura after this circus the last three years. Look at news clips of W now, he doesn’t seem nearly as bumbling as the press portrayed him. And he could speak without a prompter.

  Those trips to the ranch in Crawford were a bargain compared to the bills I’m paying this time around.

  A locked gun (probably disassembled AND locked, inside a locked case) in a checked suitcase is really a paperweight for all practical purposes.

  In 1992 Harry Connick, Jr. was busted at the metal detectors at JFK with a handgun tucked in his carryon bag. He spent a day in jail and did a PSA commercial about gun laws.

  I’m sure the MSM will make this sound like the TEA Party founder was at the gate, waving a boarding pass in one hand and squeezing off warning shots in the air with the other.

  Romney gave him a straight answer. By the way, I think that’s the same position as the president we have now, isn’t it?

  If we allow gay marriages, why not multiple partners? Why not marry a goldfish? I completely understand the need for a business relationship to recognize a life partner for shared ownership, co-signing for debt and something similar to “power of attorney” for medical matters. But, marriage really is pretty much about a man and a woman.

  At least Romney stood his ground. The guy asked for a short and sweet answer and he got one.

  Hillary would have gone into, “Some of my best friends are gay, gays have made so many contributions to the world, we need to re-examine this, there are two sides to the story so we need more time to study…. ” she’d still be there waffling today….
