  Well first off, she is 12 or 13 (so grow up? tantrum? do any of you a-holes have kids?), and secondly, I watched it and I heard her mother say, “it’s going to be alright”, and the little girl said, “mommy you promise me?” Why would her mother promise her a win? How could she? Nobody promises thier kid a win in competition, you say just do your best.

  Also the entire crowd was chanting for her to stay on the show and send home the other guy. That guy was in the bottom for 3 straight weeks or something, she never had been. I’m sure she was devastated, her (white) family is poor and this was a big chance for her. Jeez cut her some slack, she’s just a kid.

  Stewart goes with what he thinks his audience wants, it’s a comedy show not a news show. This obviously tells me that the overall support for this movement is falling and he doesn’t want to be on the wrong side of the popularity index.

  And who will provide them with the cheap housing and great salaries and benefits and food and medical… who’s wealth will be distributed and how much will everyone get? Who decides what people should get, is it based on your value to society? If I am a Doctor do I get more than an Airline Mechanic, both our jobs are vital and lives are on the line. But if I am a maid what do I get, the same as the Doctor? More because I’m poor? Less? Who and what decides this? At what level do I become a “rich” person and my wealth beyond a certain level is taken from me?

  Utopia is a mythological place, it can’t forced into existence. Remember the Eloi from The Time Machine? All their needs were met each day by the Morlocks, so the Eloi just sat around and did nothing, no art, no music, no science, they just sat around living content with what they had. Then the Morlocks ate their lazy asses. Is that the future you want?

  LOL! Yeah Toby in Texas (but not Austin, they might actually cheer the protesters), but in my neck of the woods that pig won’t fly brother! There would have been arrests, and ambulances, and a barbecue.

  I’m pretty sure that Ref has never killed any black people, I know I haven’t, yet I have paid for the past. Those drops in the bucket are starting to add up, what do you want to do, ignore it for now, deal with it when it overflows, I‘m pretty sure that’s what our white ancestors did when they ignored slavery and allowed it, even participated in it. If they had dealt with it back then maybe we wouldn’t have this problem today.
