  • Man, there is Nothing I fear more than a paid suspension!

  • Thank you, Mr. Young, for doing the right thing!

Shame on you Safeway, for suspending Mr. Young, then fabricating a reason to cover up your misguided action!

  • It is difficult to add to Ms. Walker’s comments. As she says, every parent is proud of their child, no matter whether he/she is healthy or not. It is only common sense that Ms. Walker, a parent, wants to share her child’s photos.

As to those who were ‘offended’, were they somehow forced to access and view the photos? No, they did so of their own free will. They have no business complaining.

    Shame on you Facebook!

God bless all of the Walkers!

  • So far as I can tell, no one commenting is against a mother breast feeding her child- anywhere. And no one is calling breastfeeding “immoral”. The problem here is the age of the child and the exploitation by Time (a magazine which wants us to view it as a serious news outlet) using this photo. Until reading your comment I was unaware that some poor mothers in some parts of South America breastfeed 3- 4 year olds because “this may be the only way to ensure their children gets fed”. So perhaps it is fair to assert that this is a “cultural thing”. However, Time magazine is not being published in the backwater regions or slums of South America, it is being published in the USA. It must be judged by American standards. By those standards, this cover is child abuse and child pornography.

  • “I don’t consider breastfeeding immodest at all—I’m not shy about doing it in public,” she told Time.I don’t either, Ms. Grumet, when it involves an infant. When it involves a six year old boy, it is called child abuse- or, in posing for a magazine, child pornography!

First a major TV network includes tricking someone into drinking donkey semen, now a major news magazine flaunts child abuse/ pornography. what next?

  • Sometimes the first signs of a dangerous trend are just a “speck of a non-issue”. If you want to ignore the trend of removing Christian symbols from team logos, nicknames and municipal seals and from monuments, go ahead. But don’t criticize those who are noticing this trend and reporting on it. Also, you might spend some time deciding how you react when they take away someting you hold dear.

  • Well done, Katy! Being a strong person- man or woman- means believing in yourself and your own values, not those someone else tries to force on you. As for your detractors, “Don’t let the bastards get you down!”

  • Those who claim to hear the word “n—-r” are not being truthful to the facts or to themselves.

  • Anyone who claims they can tell whether Mr. Zimmerman has or does not have injuries is lying. All this video does is establish that he was handcuffed and taken to the police station. Beyond that, it is just another of the ‘bits and pieces’ of information that the police and prosecutor‘s office are releasing so they can get ’on camera’ time. They should just ‘shut up’ and investigate this incident thoroughly using the proven legal system.

As to Spike Lee, the New Black Panther Party, Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton and others inciting the mob and calling for a lynching, they should also ‘just shut up’. Likewise, our President has a duty to call for calm, rather than remain silent or compare the deceased to his “own child”. That is called ‘Leadership’, and it is sorely lacking.

  • Mr. Limbaugh’s comments were rude and inappropriate, as he admitted in his apology, but they are protected free speech. Unforunately, his mistake left him open to criticism by the Left, who already had a plan to use and were just waiting for the opportunity.

(Interestingly, Mr. Beck and his colleagues made essentially the same charges earlier on the same day, yet have escaped criticism. Is it possible the Left overlooked this discretion? Or did they just go after ‘the big one’?).

There was a time in this country when Mr. Limbaugh’s apology would have ended the discussion. Not today.

As we see in this story, words like ‘prostitute’ or ‘slut’ are considered proper and appropriate when used by a Kennedy to describe a US Senator, or by Harvard Law to describe their own.

Like it or not, we conservatives will have to live with the inconsistencies of the Left and their media propagandists.
