  Most street vendors are illegal minorities (at least in California), take only cash and skim off the top… L.A. looks like Mexico and is just as dirty as there are not enough Health Dept. workers to make sure the vendors have permits… the food isn’t kept at correct temp…. and it goes on and on… Vendors in L.A. and other southern California towns have killed over locations… just like the drug lords…. Much of the non-food items are cheap Chinese junk that you can buy at Wal Mart or imitation brand names… Illegal aliens use this method as they can hide their identity…. I think the cons out weigh the pros….

  You people that argue that environment is the cause of Pit Bulls killing are FOOLS… we don’t hear of Bichons, Poodles, German Shepherds, etc.,,, killing people on impulse… A grandmother with her 18 month grandchild in her arms and her own Pit Bull took the child out of her arms and killed it. Not a drug infested home, but an upper, middle class home and the dog had never shown any agression… THE DOGS SHOULD HAVE TO HAVE A SPECIAL LICENSE AND THE OWNER READY TO GO TO JAIL IF THE DOG KILLS SOMEONE…
