  One thing I like about Amazon is they have this “Amazon Verified Purchase” for customer reviews. The paid “reviewer” won’t get this on their review unless they actually bought the product. Now it is possible that the company will pay the reviewer to buy the product and then post the review, it is far less likely to happen.

  Also, look at the quantity of 5-star reviews versus 3-star or less. If there are only a few 5-star reivews and dozens of 2-star or 1-star reviews on a product, you have spotted the paid reviewers.

  So, spend a little time in the Reviews and look for the patterns. It pays off in the end.

  Brian, that is just silly. Enforcing the rules that the homeowner SIGNED when they moved in doesn’t have anything to do with religion. Yes, you ARE showing bias. You are saying that it would be ok if someone put a giant “Hail Satan” sign in front of your house, as long as it was between the sidewalk and the street, which is a common area.

  As I stated, the HOA must enforce the contract, or they void the contract. Then people are free to trash the place and it becomes a slum in a year. I can assure you that they enforce the rules no matter WHAT people put in the common area. They do it every day, but only stories like this make it into the news.

  My mother was the President of a Homeowner’s Association and I can tell you, the Association has no choice. It doesn’t matter what the violation is, Virgin Mary, US FLag, Lady Gaga poster. If you let ONE person violate the rules, you can NEVER win another case, and you will have every jerk in the complex breaking the rules. Soon the complex will be a dump, and no one will be able to get their money back when they sell. Associations go to court every day over stuff like this, and it is only when it is a US flag or some religious thing that the “News” people make a story out of it, just to get people riled up and generate ratings. When my mom died, we were able to sell her place for three times what she owed, thanks to the Association and the upkeep they did there. This person needs to SELL their place and buy their own house if they want to put things in their yard.

  What an idiot who wrote this story. A Tight End doesn’t tackle an opponent. A Tight End plays offense and GETS tackled. In fact, he was getting tackled WAY OUT OF BOUNDS by the cheating Miami player when this happened. If the Miami player hadn’t been comitting a penalty (which wasn’t called), the cheerleader would never have been in danger.

  Blaze, if you are going to write a story about football, how about you get someone who has seen at least ONE football game in their life? What a bunch of buffoons.

  Remember when President Bush asked the news media to please not show the dead bosies of soldiers for the sake of their families? The MSM started screaming about the White House “trying to control the news media’s message” and similar claptrap. They were going absolutely crazy.

  Here we have a clear-cut case of the White House and Department of Justice telling a reporter specifically how to write a story, and we don’t hear a peep from the MSM.

  The MSM does not even pretend they aren’t biased any more. Obama states the lie that an “audience was booing a gay soldier” and the MSM obediantly starts asking the GOP candidates to disavow the “audience”. Obama states the lie that “rich people pay less than their secretaries” and the MSM report it without questioning for a moment how stupid a statement that was.

  I could go on and on with these examples, but I am getting sick to my stomach over it.

  When Liberals tell the truth, everyone laughs and turns away. So they all MUST lie, repeatedly, and continuously in order to accomplish their goals.

  That is why the Democrat party has presented one liar after another for President: Clinton, Gore, Kerry, and now Obama. All of them are certified liars about everything they are, and everything they want to do to the country.

  Clinton: His sex life, his investments, and his college years
  Gore: Earth In The Balance, campaign contributions, “Love Story”, “Green” living, and so on
  Kerry: His entire time in Vietnam and everything he did in the years immediately after his service
  Obama: His Childhood, his teenage years, his college years, his Communist Socialist and Anarchist upbringing, his trips abroad, his college records and grades, his college financial aid, his drug abuse, his adult friendships, his Social Security Number… dang, running out of characters remaining.

  Notice that each one gets a little worse? The only thing we can do is CONVINCE everyone that these people are habitual liars. We have the PROOF. Just make sure everyone sees it.

  Wow. I feel like I am watching “Atlas Shrugged” play out live before my eyes, as these Socialist/Communist hippies try to destroy everything that Man has built.

  It reminds me of a co-worker of mine who told me that even if it meant he would lose his job, he would prefer that over his boss not paying his “fair share”. I explained to him that our CEO pays more in taxes than his and my salary combined times ten, and he still was adamant that he would rather be part of the next layoff than have our CEO not have his taxes raised.

  These are the kinds of idiots you see in these videos. “Useful Idiots”, indeed.

  There you have two of the three mistakes I mentioned in my post. HPV and Trans-Texas Corridor (I’ll call it the TTC).

  Let’s look at the TTC realistically. IH-35 is a mess. I live north of Austin, so I live with it every day. The trucks PACK this highway, 24/7/365. The cities have had to FORBID them going into the left lane because they would shut down the highway if they didn’t. In Central Texas, the “no left lane for trucks” zone is now over 70 miles long! I hope you now understand how bad it is.

  When Perry worked with some folks to come up with the idea of the TTC, it was merely to come up with a solution to this mess. I considered it forward-thinking and visionary, EXACTLY what we need in a leader.

  But then the Texas Department Of Transportation (TxDOT) got ahold of it. UGH. The TxDOT is made up of lifetime government workers who see things from a “how big can we make it and how much money can we bring in” perspective. It got out of control within three years, and by 2007, they were talking about taking hundreds of thousands of acres of farmland to get it done.

  It was after this point that people like Bill White, the Democrat running against him for Governer, started calling it “Rick Perry’s Trans-Texas Corridor” (Kay Bailey jumped in, too). Knowing the history of the TTC, I felt this was so unfair.

  Everyone wanted the TTC prior to the TxDOT expansion of it.

  Yes sir, you are correct. Perry has been Governor of Texas for 10 years, and all they have is this? I count three mistakes in ten years. Show me ANYONE who has been in the same position in government for ten years who has made less than 3 mistakes.

  Michelle has lost, and she knows it, but now like a spoiled little girl, she has to ruin the party for everyone else before she has to go home.

  It is over for Bachmann. I loved her so much as a Representative, and was quite interested in her as a Presidential candidate. But I don’t accept ANY candidate who lies and spread rumors. The crud about the woman with the retarded child was completely made up, and she knew it. She is acting like a lying Democrat at this point, and I no longer have any respect for her.

  Go away, Michelle. Please. Just go back to Congress and do a wonderful job there. You no longer have any chance as President, and now you are doing as much damage as Huntsman. Do you understand? We don’t LIKE you any more.
