  • I saw a commercial for Vonage in which an obviously hispanic older lady was speaking on the phone. Then a middle aged couple, also darker skinned, probably hispanic appear and the hisband complains about the cost of country to country calls. Then his wife reminds him that Vonage doesn’t charge extra for such calls.

Was that a racially motivated ad? It was aimed at people calling Latin American countries.

But, the fact is; any one calling under that plan, beneifits.

The sensitivity to this aisian ad is not the race; it is the sensitive nature of the topic. We are sending boatloads of money to asian; they do thank us; they do expect their culture to grow and benefit from our foolishness. And, the PC crowd does not want us to focus on that.

  • Sounds to me like they said, “Don’t come to NYC”. OK with me; the taxes are about the highest there, too.

I have 21 mags for my Sig 9. I just don’t carry all of them with me everywhere I go.

  • Obama, the artistic orator, will tell us we need more government, taking money from the evil rich. Even though most people in the top 1% were not there 30 years ago; Steve Jobs wasn’t, Bill Gates wasn’t, none of the rapper/businessmen from the ‘hood were. The people in the ‘classes’ in this country travel back and forth in the classes. Today, many struggling, were middle clas or even upper middle class. Many who are no longer struggling, were struggling years ago.
More government and someone to blame the problems on, like the 1%; gives us a government with more power such as arose in Europe in the 1930′s.

  • This is an interesting problem: Many Jews have a distrust of Christians due to centuries of abuse by people using Christ as the excuse. The Democratic Party has made it very difficult for actual Christians to adhere to the Democratic platform.

Christ said that if we give everything we have to the poor, it will profit us nothing if we have not love. A government and government program are incapable of love. And, the trillions spent over the past 50 years by our governement on the poor, (and buying of thier votes, by the way); the percentage of the populace that is poor has grown since the inception of the ‘war on poverty’. Clearly the war has profited our country not the slightest. Interestingly, the war has profited the Democratic party as they have bought votes; the more bread and circuses they have provided, the more folks that rely on the bread and circus.

  • And, it is the convenience stores’ fault they get robbed by the gangsta-wannabees. After all, they keep money there; money the poor people don’t have; and, they keep liquor there, and cigarettes, too; liquor and cigarettes the poor people are deprived of.

It is everybodys’ fault! Oh, except those poor deprived individuals who don’t have a pair of Air-Jordans so their hip-hop, gangsta-wannabee affiliates will know they are “down witda snap, bling, bling”.

  • Chris who? Oh, I remember him, he had an exercise program and talked about things running up and down his leg. Is he still on the radio?

  • Bill Press is an expansive commentator who has never been bound by facts, reality, or propriety, if it means demeaning a conservative.

    In reply to FNTM.

For the OWS socialists: Socialism is rottenness in the bones. It is institutionalized envy. Capitalism does not bailout businesses that make errors; it lets them fail so stronger, wiser businesses can grow out of the opportunity. Socialism bails them out and props up failing models.

But, socialism also keeps a ‘few’ in charge and in power. That’s what those behind OWS are aiming for.

  • A few generations ago, and Spooky-Dude would have been arrested on sedition charges. Bribes go a long way, and should go all the way to the Big House.

  • A wise man once told me you can judge a man’s character and worth by his enemies and detracters. Hhhmmm, Kolberperson vs Blaze and Beck. Olberperson vs Blaze & Beck.

Yup, I am glad we’ve got Blaze & Beck.
