  • Witness Says Hollywood Shooter Yelled ‘Allahu Akbar!’

    December 11, 2011 at 1:55am

    In reply to heavyduty.

it is unlikely anyone will read this amongst the trolls and infiltrators trying to make the GB crowd look nothing more than hateful bigots… but, well here goes.
“There are good people in every religion.” There, I said it.

I have no problem sending anyone, of any religion, who wishes to destroy or ‘change’ America from what it was set up to be: Free, to any other country that they wish we were more like.

But any blanket dismissal or exportation of a group simply based on belief system will end up hurting not only the innocent, but the America ideal as well, and that’s something I will not allow to be injured.

There is no quick answer to the problem. It is individual change that is needed. We need to change this nation to a place of freedom and love so intense and strong, that anyone who doesn’t like that feeling, that mode of governance, will desperately want to leave on their own.

The gates of heaven are not closed to anyone… we close ourselves to heaven. God is unmoving, unchanging, constant; we are the ones who decide where we go by what we make ourselves into.
How about we make this nation a heaven on earth? You might just be surprised how fast hell flees…

  • For those who are out of the loop or uneducated religiously in the different food-laws of the main religions…
“Kosher” is the lawfully prepared, kept, handled, and even sometimes rabbi-blessed food standard of the Jews.

    Halal is the Muslim version.

  • Nate Hill explained to the guy that what he was doing was trying to identify racism for white people, so that they then would empathize with the wrong they were being type-cast as, and would be able to identify racism they had against others. It is a technique, a method, tool, he is hoping to use to make things better… and he ran into someone who was racist enough to miss his point and prove his point at the same time.

Yes, it is about “reverse-racism” – which is a racist term, (assumes that all racism is inherently against blacks, and to be racist against white, it must be ‘reverse’). The question you posed proved the point, Blaze.

Hill‘s point about white’s not paying attention is a notice that the white community is sick of the race card, and something new must be done. it is proof that ‘reverse-racism’ exists to the point that any new attention is simply ignored.

As for Nate pointing out the racism in the black community? I seem to remember the Lord talking about motes and beams, and how ‘he without sin’ should cast the first stone…
…really now, would you want an avid heroin addict as a judge over drug dealers and users? Same concept. Was Nate right or wrong in his performance? I think it depends on how you take it. For me, I think he did an excellent job.

  • Props to Nate Hill. The guy he talked to couldn‘t or wouldn’t think past his own skin, and Nate realized it. Sad. Props, Nate, we’re all family, no matter the color.

I understand why the black community may not want to admit it, but the largest obstacle to ending racism is the focus of pushing color and race into the public face; how are we supposed to see anything else with how tightly it is pressed into the public eye? Racism in politics, racism in companies, racism in sports, racism in schools, ‘racism’ in speech-on TV, radio, movies – gagged by political correctness… We aren’t allowed to hire according to merit, affirmative action fixed that. Same in almost every walk of life, you can‘t get away from the ’protection‘ from ’racism’…(but only against the minority). The black community, (every minority community in fact), has an entire industries and ‘heroes’ based on ‘fighting’ racism… and while they have a place and need, they often foster racism instead.

The concept that racism is a ‘white’ problem, is inherently racist. When are people going to wake up and realize that to move past racism, they first have to get past their own skin color? If people would stop thinking of themselves, caring about themselves, their ‘kind’, their ‘people’, then they might just forget that they are part of any one ‘race’ or ‘group’ or ‘color’, and realize that the only race they belong to is the human race.

Racism is a HUMAN failing. We seriously n

  • “She said she told Cain to stop, adding that he did.”

Can someone define ‘harassment’ for me? I was under the impression that, legally, you can‘t claim ’harassment‘ if you don’t first instruct the perp that the attention is unwanted, and then it occurs again. Sexual harassment, as far as I understand, is KNOWN, (by both parties), if not acknowledged, sexual attention… otherwise, men all over the United States are sexually harassing, and possibly raping, girlfriends and wives… and visa verse.

If you said ‘stop’, and ‘he stopped’, is it harassment? Assuming the worst possible, is this even a crime? She could possibly claim other charges, if this was in fact true, however, statute of limitations is probably out, and unless concrete evidence is provided this is all ‘hearsay’. When did we begin assuming guilt instead of innocence before proven guilty?

What I’ve seen so far, and where this is coming from, makes me very, very suspicious of this claim, but if there is no evidence behind this attempt to destroy a man’s character, frankly, she needs to sit down because I’ll assume innocence until proven guilty. His conduct doesn’t seem consistent with a sexual predator, (unlike Clinton), and he has denied.

One of them is lying… but without evidence one way or the other, I simply decide to ignore it. It is either that or accuse one of them of lying, without real evidence.

  • I don’t agree with corporeal punishment… But I can‘t help but note that he obviously doesn’t know how to use that belt, and she didn’t look all that injured or painfully hurt in the end of the clip. The crying, yelling, and tears all seem to have stopped in around a minute after the incident ended. Also, I note that she is not limping, hobbling, or holding her legs or sides as she calmly walks over to get the camera.
If you watch his interview on it, not only does he fully man-up to his actions, but he notes that she is doing this because he has told her that she still needs to ‘return the car’. (whatever that means) This makes me question what her motives behind posting this now. It smells a manipulative, vindictive rat; on both sides. Especially since she seems to have known that it was coming; how else would she film it?

I don’t condone or excuse his actions in any way. But you do have to admit that the girl knew what was coming, but decided to use a Judge’s internet and computer to steal music and media online, against his expressed wishes, and HE is legally liable for it (she was under age at the time). She wasn’t standing up for right or even trying to do right in this case… if anything, they are both guilty of wrong, but at least the father was trying to instill discipline. What was she doing?

Innocent until PROVEN guilty. I can’t pass any kind of judgment unless I know all the facts, and we won’t get those. Still too many questions now.

  • Socialist overspending and budget deficits exist in more than just Greece. Take note, the blame-game now hitting Greece will hit the U.S. very soon here.

I wonder if the EU will note how much TARP and Stimulus funds went to ‘save’ the European economy so far. Their papers didn’t mind mentioning the U.S. stimulus bump and save for their economy at the time… But I think we‘ll just be the ’bad’ guys in the end.

Playdates? Really? I know it is ‘funny’ but it isn’t that much of a joke…

Didn‘t Obama have hte ’beer summits’? and didn’t they all go golfing together? How did that work out?
Oh yeah, the left, who pushed for those exact ‘play dates’ started complaining that all the ‘right’ did was play and never gave them what they wanted afterwards.

Leftist idealism: You give me what I want if I invite you over to ‘play’ once or twice.

How is this not bribery? A payoff? Playdates… lol. Definition of insanity come to mind? Oh yeah, that’s the left. I, personally am glad that a playdate isn’t enough to convince one side or the other to cave to a radically different ideology.

  • As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, (some people call us ‘mormons’ – which is inaccurate at best…), I am amazed at how much misinformation there is in this clip and in the discussion comments that follow.
We DO baptize in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. Though we believe that the members of the trinity are separate, distinct beings, that doesn’t mean that we fundamentally disagree on what they want us to do. We DO accept and use the Bible, KJV, and claiming that ‘The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is not Christian is simply an uneducated, misaligned smear.
Before you pass judgement on fellow Christians, look into it, and please, do so honestly. It isn’t hard to get this information.

If we all simply called anyone who didn’t agree with us 100% on doctrine, ‘unchristian’, or a ‘cult’ because we all “generally agreed” that they were wrong… (look up definition of ‘cult’), then Catholics would call Protestants unchristian, same with Protestants to Catholics, same with all of them against any other religion that founds itself on the bible and teachings of Christ.

Don’t divide us with this… we need to stand together, not point fingers and call names. If your ‘group’ decided that those who didn‘t agree are a ’cult‘ doesn’t make it true. Look at it f

    In reply to skitrees.

If you didn’t notice, the first lady had someone conveniently dressed much like her in the background of one of those ‘candid’ photos. That MUST be the way ‘normal’ people dress.

Given security that the Obama’s have demanded in the past, and which we as a nation provide the presidential family, the chances that this was ‘candid’ and ‘unplanned’ are ZERO. Anyone in the background of any shots are hand-picked to be allowed that close to the first lady, and I am honestly surprised that she didn’t take Marine One.

    …wait, did she?
