  Wow, great experiment !!!
  Nothing happens until they take the lock off the bike. It’s interesting the bike vanishes a few pieces at a time, AFTER the lock’s removed. It’s also interesting, that the day the lock comes off, NOTHING IS TAKEN OFF THE BIKE except the basket ? I honestly believe the people filming this pulled the lock off to get some activity and then removed parts to get some activity ! Once they pulled the lock, this test moves into the failure category !

  I‘m sorry it’s been so quickly compared to the 9/11 images, it’s a beautiful design ! I take the builder‘s word they didn’t catch the similarities during the design process, I‘m glad they didn’t, we shouldn’t allow something like that to block designers from introducing potentially ground breaking designs.

  Even if the designer’s entire concept came from the images of 9/11, it’s not a tribute, it’s a design enhancement ! We all talk about the lack of tolerance for the Tea Party but jump all over this, we must lead by example, their acting like idiots, we shouldn’t !

  This is a very cool design, not a mocking of 9/11. Remember, do we want to be viewed as the same type as people who’s insecurity causes them to feel offended by Christmas ! We’re above those types, let’s stay there !!

  Were you sitting beside the driver ?? No you were watching a video from a HIGHER perspective, a better perspective. But from even that perspective, the child was still hidden from view.

  Your kidding right ? Let‘s assume the stereo wasn’t on and the driver wasn’t distracted !! Ever heard of panic ? The video shows a whole 5 seconds !

  Assuming that person was heartless is simpleminded !

  I’m also going to have to disagree. You have no idea what that looked or sounded like from the drivers perspective, maybe they only saw the mother and panic’d, not realizing the child was under the SUV. Even from our angle, which was better then the drivers, could you see the kid in front of the SUV ?

  The driver may have froze, but the mother is completely at fault for putting the driver in that position and putting her daughter’s life at risk.

  Your making assumptions

  1) That a driver of an SUV that large will hear the impact, who‘s the say the stereo wasn’t loud
  2) That the driver meant to continue to drive away, the video doesn’t show enough to support that. Also, seeing a child go under the front of your car could cause some people to panic and take a few seconds to react.
  3) Imagine the child’s arm get rolled over, it’s easily broken. Now imagine it’s under the wheel and you slam on the breaks, changes are the child looses the arm.
  4) Do you think for sure the driver saw them ? From the camera’s angle, looked like it, but from the drivers perspective I’m not so sure !

  Have you ever driven an SUV that big, you realize the top of the hood is nearly 3 ft off the ground. I suspect the driver saw the mother and focused on her, not even realizing they were rolling over the child.

  Read English or not, what that mother did was foolish in every sense. I’ve seen hundreds of mother pushing strollers across streets, NEVER have I seen a mother run out into an intersection with the stroller way out in front of her like that.

  Tinted Windows ??? Try reading slower, the light was GREEN !!

  The mother is solely at fault for running out into traffic with her child in lead.

  Judging without the correct facts ? You don’t want people on here to think your a liberal do you ?
