  • Now, the GOP has a chance to support a real moderate (because they will not support a Constitutionalist) as opposed to Ms Snowe – a RINO.

  • Or maybe some of those polled are the most “economical ignorant” and have no clue about the way they are being manipulated??

  • Ha ha ha, can’t afford it. Sure – bet you have cable TV with HD and premium channels (paid subscription). Bet you watch the MSM and read the local (left wing) newspaper (paid subscription). Bet you have a large screen HDTV.

Bet you don’t have priorities and expect even these to be given to you.

LOL – you sure are funny.

  • @MIGHTYMOUTH, your moniker says it all. Ron Paul is abiding by the Constitution. Obama is the narcissist with the ego and NO proven track record. Sounds to like you have no facts.

@HOLDINGTHELINEINTEXAS you really should look beyond the news headlines and your public school “education”.

The pre-WW II US citizens were reportedly isolationists. However, the US POTUS was not. FDR was looking for a way to get into the war to end the depression because his policies were stretching it out. Calvin Coolidge showed the way out in the 1920 depression – check it out.

The USA placed an embargo on rubber, fuel, and sugar on Japan – strangling its imperialism and causing it to hit harder into SE Asia. The US was sending arms and supplies to England, France, and Russia (remember lend lease?) that were being used to aid Germany‘s and Italy’s enemies. How does a country remain neutral and support enemies at the same time? They don’t – FDR was posturing to enter the war while cranking up factories (read employment) at the same time.

The US should have entered the WW II earlier, given what was being done to civilians in Europe and Asia.

FDR and the Dems (likely Reps. also) wanted (needed) the war to kick start the US economy.

Abiding by the Constitution and NOT being the world’s police force are very compatible.
