  On the Navy‘s Recruit Training Command’s facebook page, the Commanding Office has announced the following:

  “By order of the Commanding Officer, Naval Station Great Lakes, areas of downtown Chicago are off-limits to MILITARY PERSONNEL IN UNIFORM, between May 18-22, 2012 during the The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) summit.”

  There’s something major league wrong with the notion that a CO fears for the safety of his crew in a major American city.

  Fear and paranoia you say??? Nah that would be what the mainstream media peddles when they assume serious tones and deliver ominous warnings about the Tea Party or any other group with a conservative philosophy.

  … The best your heroes could come up with was a fabricated yarn about someone using a racial slur with a congressman during the health care debate and a pants wetting tirade about a target symbol used on a campaign map.

  Beck and a dozen or so other personalities and outlets are among the few actually publishing the truth… Specifically that its been leftists who are not only violent (rapes, riots, bounties and plots to blow up bridges), but are promising to be yet more violent.

  Fear about the loss of a fragile peace? You bet. But you know what? We really didn’t need Beck or anyone else to justify our concern. We’d be the group that lives in the real world and thus base our concerns on our own every day experiences. Beck and the rest, simply confirm what we already know and that is that the dung is about to be thrown into the jet engine.   How about some new and meaningful news? Have you see a young marine or sailor on liberty? Believe you me, not all of them are alter boys.

  IF there is an agenda with the coverage, it will be about taking the shine off of the institutions that conservatives generally respect. The Blaze Ayers story is strong example of how the left hates those few good things about government that we conservatives respect.

  As this story develops and the MSM mainstream media engages in a dialog that expresses “shock” and despair, it is important that we don’t take the eye off the ball. Specifically, the willingness of a man to take a bullet or cover a grenade with his body does not become less heroic or beautiful because he likes a few Bud Lights or wild women.
