Communist Protester in Wis.: ‘People Are Open’ to a ‘Revolutionary Movement’
February 19, 2011 at 11:57am
The American flag — or any national flag — flown upside down is a distress signal — though I doubt that’s how they meant it. Bad image, but it LOOKS rather tattered.
Anyway, they remind me of the scene in “Doctor Zhivago.”
“No more czars, daddy, only workers in a workers’ state!”
Yeah, THAT worked out really well.
AND… why is it that conservatives who call for a return to CONSTITUTIONAL government are “subversives” while people openly urging revolution are “protesters”?

Bob Avakian. Of Armenian descent? I wonder if he’s read “Armenian Golgotha.” (available free online) Everyone should. It details the cheerful massacre of Armenian Christians by their own Turkish Muslim government, with lots of invited participation by Muslim Turk peasants. In the name of a better future, of course. Hitler studied the Armenian genocide carefully when planning his own.
These people remind me a lot of them. Glenn Beck had a great film clip of Fabian Socialist George Bernard Shaw. “If you produce nothing, then you are of no use to us, and it is foolish to use society’s resources to keep you alive,” something very close to that. As one of the currently unemployed, I get a little anxious. And Obama buddy William Ayers said 25 million Americans who reject the communist ideal would have to be eliminated. I can add 2+2.
Audience Member Freaks Out as Bill Maher Slams Treatment of Women by Muslim Men
February 19, 2011 at 11:42am
Smiley said “worser.” What an intellectual.
The heckler seemed to be blaming U.S. involvement — “Have you seen what Hellfire missiles do to women?” — for Islamic extremism, which is part of Arab culture dating back to pre-history.
I think Maher has started to realize how his prononcements on his show conflict with the reality that is becoming OBVIOUS. There may be hope for him yet.
The woman on the panel who equated abusive Muslim husbands with “Republicans?”? Maybe not.
Beginning of a Democracy Uprising in the U.S: Noam Chomsky Hopes Wisconsin Protest Will Be Just Like Egypt

Anyway, Chomsky, democracy is two wolves and a sheep voting on what to have for dinner. We are a constitutional republic.

From what I have seen, public school teachers and other government employees are used to obeying the orders of bureaucrats even as those bureaucrats demean and insult them. They are the Outer Party, elite but not THE Elite. They still have tremendous influence in their communities and believe they have the answers. Local teachers here want higher taxes and new schools even with our 16% unemployment rate. Yet even as education eats up a significant proportion of tax revenue, our young people can’t find New York State on a U.S. map or Iraq on a globe. They know nothing about our Constitution but lots about the drug habits of Hollywood socialites — I mean socialists.

Logan was called a “war monger” (sic; should be one word) for her sense of fairness when interviewing U.S. military commanders rather than practicing liberal ambush journalism. That makes whatever happens to her OK. 85% of professional journalists are liberal socialists and like to keep the rest well in line.

Beck TV: Why Is Glenn ‘Wary’ of Using Google?
February 17, 2011 at 12:09am
I think it was the president of Google who recently boasted “We know what your interests are.” He did not mean it in a helpful, caring way. He meant that they pay attention to your search patterns. The federal government has a bill in the works to require all Internet service providers to maintain such records and turn them over to federal investigators or local police upon request. There’s no time for warants and judges any more.
Policy Reversal: U.S. Announces Rebuke of Israel Before the UN Security Council
February 16, 2011 at 11:50pm
In every “land for peace” agreement, the Palestinians took the land… and used it to shoot rockets farther into Israel. From strategic civilian-dense attack points like hospitals and schools which provided many human shields.
Certainly Israel isn’t governed or populated by angels, but considering that the League of Nations/UN plopped them down where they are, surrounded by Arab Muslims, with the intent that the Arabs would soon take care of the “Jewish problem” but haven’t been able to…
Shocking Vid: Wis. HS Students Admit Teachers Bringing Them to Protests but Don‘t Know Why They’re There

My 13-year-old granddaughter — I haven’t had much chance to help raise her — doesn’t know that 4.5 is the same as 4 1/2, or her left from her right, or that the sun rises in the east and sets in the west, or that we have a Constitution and Bill of Rights, but she can sing lots of rap and hip-hop songs and knows the vital importance of recycling to save the planet. I think lots of teachers NEED a wakeup call. Are they inderpaid? Maybe. Are they cogs in a big bureacracy? Definitely.
