  The tip off to me is seeing a supposed mammoth / elephant cross a river ,never taking the end of it’s trunk out of the water.It would have to breath at some point.

  These animals were raised in captivity and would not survive on their own in the wild.They have lost their fear of man and would be quick to take down a child or adult as a food source. The only way was to eliminate as many as possible as quick as possible to prevent them from escaping the property. It would be possible to tranquilize perhaps a treed bear or an animal that is cornered in a controlled area but chances are that won’t happen.

  My dad brought some smoked carp home when I was a kid. It was a little greasy but tasty . I’m not a big fan of smoked foods though .When my dad was young,he and his friends would spear carp in the farm drainage canals ,fill their car trunk ,and then take them into Milwaukee and sell them to the blacks who really loved to get the fresh fish.

  Well,um,yeah,it was trying to take them all out ..Besides,it had lost it’s fear of humans ,now having the taste of human blood ,it now looked at them as a food source .To let it live would have heightened the danger from that particular bear exponentially. It would have surly killed someone again.
