‘Paid Democratic Hitman’: Stephanopoulos’ Bizarre Debate Question on Contraception Suddenly Makes Sense
February 17, 2012 at 3:49pm
The issue of contraception has never been brought up in this or any other venue. So how can it not be suspect? Put 2 and 2 together and it’s fairly obvious. While I think some things are coincidental, I really don’t think this one could be. Never brought up before, and it was asked way out of left field, just before the President tries to force something on people that has never been discussed.

Let’s be honest, it usually holds true that “where there’s smoke, there’s fire.”

Remember “Two-Face” from the Batman series? That’s him! Says one thing but does not believe it or do it, although he expects us to buy it and sell it. Sad times…
‘Betraying Jesus’: Pastor Tells Rev. Graham to ‘Repent’ for Saying It’s OK to Vote for a Mormon

May need to re-read those verses again. The Savior commanded us to not be ‘of the world,’ meaning not to be worldly or wicked. As in, many things taught within ‘the world’ are not of him, but rather another source, namely Satan. He never commanded all of us not to be involved in the affairs of the world. We must all work for a living, right? That’s a worldly affair, but not inherently wicked. He cautions us to be righteous in all our affairs, and not let ‘the World’ change us. We must however, still be involved in many affairs of the world and can still maintain our standards. In other words we must live and work ‘in’ the world, but must not be ‘of’ the world.

@Garym, please reread your post and tell me it is not a contradiction: Something about editing the Bible for man’s appeasment? Really? Now stop and think just for a minute – how many times has the Bible been translated, and re-translated, not to mention the original process of compiling the books, which unfortunately was a very political process. Now how does your original comment fit within this context?

And part of those concerns were answered in the comment itself…there are things that should remain sacred. Sacred and Secret are two different things, and we should at least try to learn a bit about our own language before we use it. Secondly, keeping certain things sacred is not really a basis for labeling somethinga cult. Again, let’s learn what it all means before we use it.

Y’all are right, I think UNZIPPED is a bit unbalanced, likely from that huge chip on his shoulder. Let’s stop kicking the dead horse finally and admit the truth you appear to be hiding (since you so strongly endorse truth). SomeONE (and not very likely a whole church) wrongedyou, and your hatred for one, or a few, has turned into hatred for a whole church. Seems to me that’s the typical reason.
Adam Carolla Breaks Down Occupy Movement: ‘F**king Self-Entitled Monsters’
December 1, 2011 at 6:50pm
Great quote from Buffet…It’s also good to see that not all celebrity-types are drinking the koolaid. Thanks Adam and many other posters here for keeping it real – and civil. I have no problems with “calling a spade a spade,” but there’s no need for personal attacks.
And btw @Ed Zavada, there is plenty of envy among the OWSers. And to say they are sacrificing their time – let’s be honest – most of them have nothing better to do. If they really wanted to make a difference, why not all find a neighborhood in need and go clean it up. Or volunteer at a shelter. Anything other than loitering in the parks, making a mess of them, and still having to real idea why you are there in the first place.
