  • Van Jones Says Tea Party Is Fighting to Take Away Civil Rights & the Middle Class…So Rich People Don’t Have to Pay Back America for Making Them Rich.
It is very unlikely that I will ever be able to meet this Communist piece of garbage face to face, but if I was ever so fortunate I would tell him the following:
I am a proud Tea Party member and I know you for what you are, a self aggrandizing rabble rouser who uses the stupidity of your mind numbed malcontents to further your ambitions and bank accounts!
I sir am a TRUE supporter of Civil Rights and the Middle Class while you are an obvious pretender who has no concern for anyone beyond how much they can benefit agenda!
Thanks to the political BOVINE EXCRAMENT that you and your cohorts have inflicted on our REPUBLIC, my family, along with millions of others, is struggling to keep our homes, jobs, businesses, and FREEDOMS from falling VICTOM to your COMMUNIST IDEALS!!!
You and your; race baiting, fear mongering, class warfare, want to be, RULLING CLASS are not convincing anyone except the most compliant useful idiots. Nobody in the “Tea Party” believes any of your pathetic rhetoric CRAP!! That’s why YOU ARE FRIGTENED OF US, as well you should be, because we are going to pound you back into the hole you crawled from!!!!!

  • Although I agree with the basic sentiment of your message, I must point out that the President does not require the approval of Congress to commit the military. There is no Constitutional requirement to receive Congressional approval before engaging a foreign power in a military conflict. The idea that the Commander and Chief of the Armed Forces must obtain Congressional approval before engaging in a military action was probably first instilled in the minds of the American people after F.D.R. addressed a joint secession of congress on December 8th 1941 to announce a state of war with Japan. However this was not required because the U.S. had been at war since about 7am Hawaiian time on December 7th. The concept has been furthered by the War Powers Act of 1973 which is an act of Congress and may or may not be Constitutional. Until the War Powers Act is confirmed by the Supreme Court as being Constitutional, or it becomes an amendment to the Constitution, Presidents will probably continue to exercise their Constitutional powers, rightly or wrongly.

  • Can someone please explain to me the insanity that infects these communist and anarchist morons? Che was a psychopathic sadistic monster, the evidence and testimony is irrefutable! As for Cynthia McKinney, in any other reality she would be under medical supervision and possibly hospitalized for her obvious delusions and dysfunctional mental condition. Basically she is a blithering idiot who dose not have the intelligence required to poor piss from a boot with the directions written on the heel!

  • WHO CARES???? Generally song lyrics are considered poetry and song writers are considered poets! Is this commentary from the BLAZE “journalists” the first sign that you feel you need to make stupid observations to prove your journalistic qualities? I expect this kind of nonsensical commentary from the drive-by media, not “theblaze”.

  • I am ready to give Alan West the benifit of the doupt. One vote does not immediately make him a traitor, but it does deserve our scrutiny. There may be intrigue involved beyond our ability to understand from our perspective. However continued acquiescence to old line republican leadership manipulations will certainly be evidence that Congressman West is not a conservative, at least not when push comes to shove.

I agree with Congressman West that we need to keep moving forward, but the Speaker’s plan is not moving forward! It is politics as usual from John Boehner and it will accomplish nothing meaningful, even if the administration goes for it! So in effect we are at best treading water with this kind of thinking. Boehner, Cantor, Redd, Obama, Pelosi, et. al still don’t get it that a new day has dawned in America and the citizens are awake, informed, involved, and PISSED OFF at politics as usual! old line politicians like Boehner are not going to keep their exalted positions by playing this kind of game anymore.

We have a proposal that will actually accomplish something and move us forward. It is the cut, cap and balance bill! Congressman West keeps talking about battlefield tactics but he seems to be acting more like a General Montgomery than a PATTON!! We have them by the nose and it is time to kick them in the ASS!! KEEP PUSHING CUT, CAP, & BALANCE. WE HAVE THE POWER SO LETS USE IT!!!

  • Sorry to say, but your understanding of the Constitution comes up a little short. The state, county, and municipality may place certain restrictions on how you exercise your rights, but they do not have the right to totally deny them. Therefore the law may allow that nothing be locaited such that it creates a hazerd to the public, or placed on public access right of ways, but under the Constitution the State may not completely prohibit the freedom of speech or religion. The exceptions allowed to the State are very limited and must be specific and well defined.

In this specfic case the homeowner could have fought the ordance in court. A citizen should be able to place a cross on a tree, as long as it is completely in his own yard, but it would probably not be worth the time and money required to fight the system. When he placed the cross in the 10 foot public “right of way” the municipality had the legal right to have it moved. But now that it is on the citizens property, standing all alone, the municipality is bound by the Constitution of the United States. Unfortunately the municipality may try to find another obscure statute, or pass a retroactive law, to force the removal of the cross and the property owner lacking the funds to fight it in court will have to remove the cross. This is exactly how our rights are lost incrimentally.

  • Directed to REDNBLACK’S comment: Yes we would support your God given, and Constitutional, right to free speech and religion. What makes you so certain that we would not? Have you actually spent any time in the real live company of “blazers” and “teabaggers”? I suspect you prefer to isolate yourself in your own world and snipe at anyone who does not comply with your viewpoint.

  • Your comments are right on the mark. This guy was certainly not a “Professional Officer” by any standard I have ever known.

  • Although it has been many years ago, I was patrol police officer in my youth. I left the police force because I realized that if I had continued in that career I would eventually become a danger to myself and to some of the people I was forced to interact with. In the immortal words of Harry Callahan “ a good man always knows his limitations”. I was particularly disturbed when we were required to intervene in adomestic situations where children were obviously being abused or neglected and I knew it was only a matter of time before I snapped on one of these slime bag parents and put them in the ground. Nobody had to tell me it was time to go, because I knew my limitations.

Unfortunately this officer is way past being a BAD COP and he certainly has no business being on the streets as part of a professional police department! Both of these officers made multiple mistakes that put their safety at risk and this was after they had already made up their minds that there was illegal activity going on. I understand that the time and place made the actions of the three principles suspicious, which gives sufficent cause to question the citizens. But these officers screwed up big time and if these people had been what they belived them to be both officers would be DEAD!!! The officer that said he would be justified in gunning down the driver needs to be KICKED OFF OF THE FORCE. His partner, at the very least, should be suspended and placed on probation.

  • What is the big deal? Is it any suprise that if a homosexual male or female walks into a known Christian facility and asks for help in riding them of their homosexual tendencies that the Christian counselor is going to employ Christian concepts and teachings? Speaking as a Christian I believe that homosexuality is a SIN and it is distructive to society and often to the individual, but as a Christian I am commanded by GOD to love the sinner while hating the sin! If a homosexual comes into a Christian facility for help with some addiction and dose not mention their homosexuality then the counselours should not bring it up, but if the patient brings it up as associated with their original problem then suprise suprise they are going to hear about GOD’s commandments on the subject!

Anybody find it funny how this story gets traction but Obama’s best buds at Accorn can counsel people how to be better pimps and hoes and it is hardly mentioned as a problem? DO you know why? There is a war going on all around us and it is between the forces of GOOD and EVIL. Evil is easy to follow because it generally gives instant gratification and that’s what weak and cowardly types always want most. But standing up against Evil takes courage and hard work! If you are not on Gods side you are by default on the wrong side and that includes everyone who facilitates someone wallowing in their sin.
