  • Doctors and nurses also swore the Hippocratic oath which says they can do no harm to their patients. That includes harm from inaction as well as from their actions.

  • Is it just me or does she seem to have the personality of a piece of bread? And not even some kind of interesting bread like marbled rye or pumpernickel, but just plain old white bread. She almost seemed like a programmed automaton while she was talking in that clip.

  • The only ethical responsibility they have is to serve a product that does not effect the customers health in a overly negative manner. Like for instance they have to make sure they are not serving contaminated or toxic food. I know that some people would like to say that they are ethically responsible for putting healthy food on the table. If everyone was a child and unable to make rational decisions for themselves, or if they were a child and didn’t have a guardian to do make those decisions that would be the case, but it isn’t though. The last time I checked Colonel Sanders wasn’t coming to peoples houses putting a gun to their heads and forcing them to eat his chicken. So, no they don’t have that ethical responsibility. Nor does a college campus have the responsibility to provide its students with contraception. Especially when “Obamacare” (Ugh! I just vomited in my mouth a little just saying that.) is supposed to keep them on their parents insurance till 26 and then require them to have their own insurance after that. I mean if that is the case it should be paid for anyway right? So, why on earth would the college be responsible?

  • I bet she wants KFC to pay for blood pressure pills too.

  • Wow, the last time I checked the only thing a university was supposed to do for a student was provide them with a quality education. Which by the way can be obtained at any accredited school. You don’t have to go to Georgetown, Harvard, or Yale. She is not even advocating for the professors who work for the university she is talking about. She is a student advocating for students! Saying that the university should pay for the students contraception is like saying KFC should pay for its customers blood pressure medication. It’s a ludicrous argument.

  • Wow! The sad thing is that even though they know he said this, millions of professing christians will tune into his show tomorrow or whenever it is broadcast. Why do people not stand for what they say they believe anymore? If they did this guy would be canceled in a matter of weeks because his ratings would be near 0.

  • Wow, let me see if I can follow some of logic I’m seeing here. It sounds like you are saying that if a woman goes into a clinic to seek a abortion, and they tell her she hast to have this test first, she has given up her right to leave and go elsewhere. Are you are saying that if she decides she doesn’t want the abortion anymore because of the test they are going to tie her up and do it anyway? That is the only way it meets the standard of it being against her will. So, realistically your logic just doesn’t stand up. Saying that is the equivalent of state sanctioned rape is like saying the even though you decided not to get on the plane anymore the TSA will have you arrested for refusing the full body scan or groping pat down. Wait TSA already does that!? Maybe someone should look into that!

  • Right on! She had a instinctual movement just like the girl in this story too. It was standing and applauding every time she heard Obama’s voice. I still can’t get over some of those SOTU addresses and seeing her trying to beat the VP to his feet.

  • Wow, that Facebook post at the bottom of the article is killing me. It’s amazing how these people will try, and I do mean try, to lie and twist things to make themselves look good. What is sad is they have a bunch of naive followers that will actually believe that this food pantry is willing to starve people to death rather than take food from them. I honestly don’t know which is worse, that they would say things like that or that people are dumb enough to believe them.

  • I saw the video and I think the punishment fits the crime here. She publicly disrespected her parents on social media. So, he publicly responded to what she said, and then removed the means for her to disrespect them further. Kudos by the way for the method of the removal by the way. I especially think that making her pay for the software he installed and even the bullets he used are going to be effective in driving home this particular lesson. I think the only thing that might have been more effective is to have made her do away with her own laptop in some way.
