  • To the student that said “fu#$ the Military!”, I will make a deal with you. I will cover your entire portion of the National Debt that comes from military spending, from now until I die, You will cover my portion of the National Debt that comes from EVERYTHING else, until you die. This will cover my Medicare, medicaid, social security and ALL of the other social programs that you seem to enjoy and support so much!!!

  • Unemployment Drops On Non-Existent Job Growth

    February 4, 2011 at 12:20pm

In the employment report, the key number was the workforce number. In January the workforce, total number of people that are working or looking for work, dropped by 600,000. This means that 600,000 people more than new entries, left the workforce. In one month!!! I know that 600,000 did NOT retire in January. This means that people are giving up looking for employment. The real rate of unemployment is well over 10% and if you include the under-employed it is well over 20%.

    In reply to Ronko.

I second this thought. Truly one of the commercials that made me laugh the first time I saw it, and left me wanting to see it again. There have not been very many of those in the past year.

  • We have to quit LETTING them frame the question, so they look good. Go, Megyn!! Your questions were straight forward, and the Wiener knew he could not be truthful and look good to the American people, so he tried to change the question. Megyn, keep it up. Perhaps you could begin asking yes or no questions. Such as, Mr Wiener, do you believe that double taxation is ever fair?? Do you believe that double taxation is constitutional? These are only two examples, but I am positive that we can come up with many more.

  • I think they are on to something. Can we get all the ladies to join in? I really believe that this is going to work, in fact, if we get enough participants, I am sure that I can scientifically prove it is working with a “hockey stick”! Just leave out the Dimmocrats, like Pelosi, Ginsburg, Allred, etc. They might contaminate the whole experiment, resulting in a reverse “hockey stick”.

  • Following are the vote totals for the Bill.

You will notice that only two Repbs in the Senate and 0 in the House voted against. The expiration was put in to garner Dimmocrat votes. Thanks for your link, but if you read it, it is concerned, in 2006 (well after the Bill passed) with the accounting after 2010. The arricle explains an accounting gimmick to say the cuts were permanent. So, to say your link provides proof that it was republicans is FALSE. Go ahead, go back and read it. As for your statement, that you understand deficits (while implying that I do not) I do not know where that response comes from in my post. Also, NO evidence is present that you understand deficits, nor that I do not. This seems to be another Alinsy tactic. When you can not win change the subject of the argument. The reason that the Bush Tax Cuts are set to expire, is because that is what the Dimmocrats demanded in order to vote for them. Try again, this time use facts. Show me where I have revised history. Give me a link to a respectable source. I won’t hold my breath.

  • ABC, had you done any research prior to your posting, you would KNOW that the reason that the current tax system will expire (resulting in the largest tax increase in the history of the USA) is because that is the only way enough Dimmocrats would vote for the Bill. It is called bipartisanship. You will recall that although the Reps had control of the house and senate, they did NOT have a super majority, so they could not pass bills without support from some of the Dimmocrats. The Dimmocrats are the ones who have FORCED this situation. The Republicans wanted permanent reductions. Thanks for your feeble attempt to portray this as the Republicans fault.

  • The person that gets the most votes does not necessarily win, the person that has the most votes COUNTED wins!!

  • “…everyone who uses the post office is participating in successful socialism…”

Since when is the MONEY LOSING post office SUCCESSFUL??? Fed Ex, DHL, UPS, etc, would do the same job for less, more efficiently! Thanks Larry.

  • To TheGreyPiper: Are you serious? Are you saying that the 20+ years that LT. COL. West spent in the military, leading our soldiers, being promoted, being stationed overseas, etc. is not experience?? I think you need to rethink your requirements.
