  copo you are wrong about the definition of a neo con. The last prominent bunch of neoconservatives were neither socially liberal nor fiscally conservative. What you describe sounds like slogan used to describe libertarians sometimes.

  the downturn is always unexpected. They use the boomtimes to set baseline projections and live in a fantasy land that revenues and returns will be high indefinately. You obviously don’t have to be that good at economics, or business, or commmon sense to be an elected representative.

  Too bad there isn’t a thousands year old fable about wisely conserving resources for the winter. I’m an ant that is so sick of the grasshoppers who want to raid my foodstores.

  1) I dont care how much he was bullied. There is no excuse for going on a shooting rampage. Sick of the media trying to understand and rationalize crazy. High school has always been a tough time for the socially awkward.

  2) I’m a gun owner. If my kids ever use my guns to shoot somone, I deserve to be prosecuted. Not sure if he got his guns from the parents, but as a gun owner it is my responsibility to prevent them from falling into wrong hands.

  Communism looks great to these academics on paper. Problem is they never look into the practice of it. The only actual result of communism in practice is death, inequality, and economic ruin. Too bad they can’t look to all the examples of where is has failed or is failing.

  My father in law is a diabetic and nearly killed my wife in a severe car accident when she was a young girl. When a diabetic has a reaction their mental facilities shut down. I witnessed him have a reaction on Thanksgiving when we were playing a game of wiffleball. It was like out of nowhere he became incapacitated and unresponsive. When someone in this condition is in control of a motor vehicle, it is deadly dangerous. People here commenting that she is using her diabetes as an excuse are dumb. I have no doubts she was out of it and everyone was in danger.

  reinforces the broken window theory of crime. When the bike was pristine and in good shape, it lasted over 200 days. Once it started to get picked at, it quickly was scavanged and ultimately stolen.
