  in case you forgot let me remind you who sarah palin is… she is a POLITICIAN! politics is a dirty, dirty business, and the higher position one has, the harder it is for even a person of moral character to come out clean in the end.

  as time goes on, she will continue to reveal what she’s truly all about.

  she has already said and done numerous things that should make a person of conservative persuasion take pause… for example a) endorsing romney and b) endorsing orrin hatch

  @Mittens…i think your comments portrays racial bias and a few other things. why focus on their race instead of the contents of story? ANYONE.. of any race… would not want to be forced to pay a %17 percent tip for terrible service. would you? and why mention the fact that your wife carries a firearm.. in case some customers don’t like the service she gives? sounds like killing a fly with a flame thrower! if working at the mall is such a dangerous occupation..maybe for her safety she should look for work elsewhere.

  this story is completely outrageous. the restaurant did nothing but create bad publicity for itself. It is quite accepted that larger parties are charged more for a tip.. but what is not acceptable is being forced to generously tip lousy service.

  not leaving a tip is not a criminal offense! it is a civil matter. not only did the manager act like a jack a$$, but they created a potential fire hazard by LOCKING the doors because someone didn’t want to pay a 17% tip for bad service. They paid for their food… it wasn’t a dine n dash.
