  • Now…… I don’t normally chime in, but as hypocrites and liars without the sense to know it are a pet peeve of mine, I feel that my only comment MUST be……
    AHHHHHHH HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!
Thnak you for letting me vent that.
    Be safe and well all

  • BWAH HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!

Ohh Joy, you silly human! The bloody POLITICIAN is funnier than you are.

(.snort, sent her flowers and a thank you note >snickerchuckle< well everyone

  • Personal observation……….
The speaker obviously knew who the crew represented (why make the big production otherwise?) and wanted to attempt to pull a personal “WEatch ME stand up to those I disagree with” moment.

The reporter, who is just that……. there to REPORT… to RECORD… the event was relunctant to involve himself in the story…… as he should have been. that is one of the top rules in journalism. But when the speaker wouldn’t let the moment go, the reporter, calmly and professionally, stepped up and explained his position. The speaker was obviously expecting an MSNBC-like rant, and when it didn’t happen, he “graciously” decide to be magnaimous and “allow” the news crew to remain.

If they didn’t want any coverage from any Fox crews, they should have answered the multiple attempts that he, himself, stated they made. They should have said, “No”. Now they just look like idiots for making such a big deal about it, then backing off.

    just my opinion.

  • How‘s MSNBC’s New Image Campaign Going?

    October 7, 2010 at 10:55am

Boy! I hope I don’t offend here, but am I the only one that seemed to note that the… “United States of come as you are”…. and “our differences unite us”…. only seems to include those that agree with them?
Based on the things I’ve seen on their network (and yes, I tune in on occassion. I like to know those that stand against the things I believe), they verbally crucify ANYONE that they disagree with.
I might suggest they change a few words in their promotion to more reflect the actions they take on the air, in my opinion. maybe change it to….. “The United States of come as we tell you to”……… and “our differences make US right and all of you wrong (and insert any/all insults that MSNBC’s on air people have used consistantly)”
    But that’s just my thoughts

    Be safe and well all

  • Please……. someone correct me if I’m wrong, but when, say, a police officer takes his or her pledge, don’t they swear to uphold the law? What happens to them if they are caught on video breaking those laws or even denouncing them…. saying that they aren‘t important or that they don’t care about them? Would they or would they not be removed from duty?

Wouldn’t it be nice if the seemingly self professing “elite” in our nation’s capitol where held to the same standards that any of us would be?

    …..sigh…..

  • I want to be……. I mean, I think……… listen, I could do a really great job………. I want to post for the position of White House Press Secretary……… I know I can……. I mean, I can express…….. I speak…….. Listen, I can present at least one coherent……… Heck…….. this is going no where and is just going in circles. let’s move on, please?
    ;)

  • Stepinwolf……….

I have to say that I was an advocate for adding all religious beliefs to the banner, rather than banning them all. I felt, and still feel, that was the right thing to do. Not because I want to change anyone’s mind about their faith, but because everyone should have had the opportunity to express things that they felt would be inspirational to their team. And, to use your phrase, “commie flags” have nothing to do with what i spoke about. Sorry, no harm intended.

I don‘t care what the president’s religion or faith is. That’s his business, his choice. I simply don’t believe in hypocrasy and when one political party decries religion when it suits them, then uses faith and religion as a weapon to advance their agenda, THAT is where my disgust lies.

Also, I will defend your right to say and believe whatever you choose, but I would feel guilty if I didn’t say that i dislike your use of race and derogatory insulting language to describe anyone. Especially out President. You can dislike his views, his policies, frankly everything about the man, but that’s why we have the vote. So we can remove those we fell that way about. It is your right to speak as you will, and i would defend that to my last breath. But I personally think it’s sinking to a low point.

Finally, I appreciate that you want to defend your religious rights. But I never said that I shared your faith or your religion. I simply said that i detested hypocrasy.

  • ………. sigh……….
I read this article and pulled the stereotypical Wile E. Coyote, jaw dropping to the tabletop wild take.

First, let me say that I live by the rule Harm None. I understood the reasons for sending troops to Afghanistan and Iraq. I hated that people were going to suffer, but I understood. Also, I have never been an advocate of putting troops on our southern boarders. Until now.

American citizens are being targeted. American law enforcement are being targeted. Americans in America MUST be defended. I don’t equate this to illegle immagration. This is about virtual warlords who are in near comtroll of their own country believing that they can do the same here. They should be shown that is incorrect.

I believe that thugs would be less likely to confront well armed, well prepared military units waiting on them. I believe that would be like the school bullies attacking the local SWAT team. I believe that would be a deterant. With little harm done. Of course, I’m no stratigist.

As to the U.S. flying deportees into central Mexico……. maybe they should pay for that if they want it done. Maybe they could use the billions we just Fed Exed to them.

    Sorry. Rant done.

  • I worked in broadcast journalism for more than a decade, and it was jack asses like this that made my decision to leave that industry less hard than it was.

If he wants to be a journalist, as he has reported that he does/is….. garbage like this is NOT the way to go about it. If, however, he wants to make all conservative journalists look like jerks, he’s well on his way.

There is another story on the main page about a CNN reporter seemingly showing actual unbiased reporting, and commented that i was going to show my daughter, an aspiring journalist, the video to inspire her. I’ll also show her this one. It is the perfect example of how NOT to behave in journalism.

  • I agree. Let the family mourn in peace. They have had enough harm done to them.

These people should understand that they are supposed to be living by the rules, “Let he who is without sin cast the first stone” (which I think they can not do because they are causing more harm by their actions) and “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you” 9again, they would most likely up in arms if anyone protested their intolerance and hatred at a funeral of one of their loved ones).

I believe in freedom of speech. I live by the motto, “I may not agree with what you have to say, but I will defend your right to say it with my last breath”. And I DO defend these hateful, harmful, insensitive “church goers” and their rights, but……..BUT…… they DO NOT have the right to attack these poor suffering family members. They DO NOT have the right to impose their views, opinions, and values on others. And they are doing that very thing.

I would ask these people to try something. Try reading that holy book you say that you are championing. ya might be surprised at what you find. You might find that YOU are in the wrong. In fact, I might bet on that as being a fact.
