  I can agree with West’s position. He is a man of action, and would have little use for games. Defunding Obamacare cannot take place until we have bulletproof majorities in both the Senate and House, so a vote to do so now is only symbolic. We should not reject him for this stand. I doubt if anyone here honestly believes West would not like to see Obamacare relegated to the dustbin.

  GWB always showed class while in public office, and has continued to do so in his private life. Compared to him, BO looks like a Jerry Springer guest. It’s also worth comparing the behavior of the two living Democrat ex-presidents to that of our two living Republican ex-presidents.

  “Geronimo” was the name given to Goyahkla by the Mexicans who hated and feared him even more than did the Americans. It was not used by his followers.

  Bo didn’t get as much of a boost in the polls as he wanted and expected. The photos will be released close to the 2012 elections to remind Americans that he, the Messiah and uncontestable military genius, was alone responsible for taking out OBL. I have no doubt that there are those who will let that sway them to forget the economic mess he has created long enough to vote for him.

  I guess you forgot about Bubba Clinton turning down the offer to have OBL delivered to us on a silver platter.
  BO did NOTHING towards getting OBL except giving the okay for the military to carry out its mission, and that permission came only after 16 hours of trying to figure out if it would help his abysmal approval rating in the polls. He is, and always will be, a loser in the annals of United States history. No POTUS was ever more deserving of impeachment.

  As an agnostic (i.e., I don’t profess to know the unknowable), I think many self-proclaimed atheists actually fall into that catagory. That said, I enjoy Cupp’s writing. Her political insights are well thought out and logical. In other words, conservative. Her religious beliefs, or lack of them, is no reason to ignore what she writes. I doubt that her politics would be different if she were Baptist, Catholic, Mormon or Jewish.

  I think the entire concept of “hate crime” is utterly ridiculous. Crime is crime. This was a brutal beating. Anyone taking part in it, whether the girl administering the beating, onlookers encouraging her and the guy who told her to run because the cops were coming, should face the maximum charges the DA can come up with.
