  I agree, she definitely appeared to feel threatened. Once she swung once and had little effect she probably panicked. He should NOT have been anywhere near her talking to her in that way. At the very least he should be suspended.

  As a person who fears dogs myself (after being biten a time or two) I am heart sick by the thought of this brutal attack. Just heart sick
  BUT I have to reply to your comment about these dogs having no place in society.
  I actually have a Pitbull living at my home. My daughter took it in before moving back in to my house. I was a bit leary myself as I hav eyounger children. but this dog is THE most gentle well trained well behaved animal I have ever known. problem deffinitely is in ownership and treatment of these animals. There are too many abused animals. Maybe these act on that quicker . I don’t know. Or maybe this is a case of “pack” mentality. ( ihave run into that thought with muts!)
  Please don’t make statements that all these animals are a menace, because they defiiniltey are not.
  Those dogs that attacked that woman should have been restrained or in the house if they were not home! Responsibility lies totally with them.

  what sickens me the most is how we have to teach our children now that We are helpless to protect them. They have to comply even against their parents wills. So the child is left completely vulnerable at the hands and eyes of all the adults around her. Sickens me.. So glad I dont need ot fly. but if they can justify this just wait and see what they will be justifying next … “for the common good” ……

  I just received a notice from my sons school (he’s in 4th grade) telling me that they weighed and measured him , and found him to be underweight.. indicating a possible health problem!
  I am quite angry that they did this AND sent him home with a note. He has physician and she knows how healthy he truly is!

  OH come on.. totally tasteless , agreed.. her character.. in question.. sure.
  but sometimes things that take us off guard can make us laugh and just hit us at the wrong moment , which makes it more difficult to control. don’t think this deserves this much attention.
