  • I can’t believe this. This is like I am living in a surreal world. We need energy. We have it in the USA…and yet, he lies…lies…lies and nobody calls him on it. Not the candidates, not the congress and not the press. If we are drilling more today…it is because of Bush and those policies will expire soon enough. No no rigs in the gulf…nothing.

Where is WILLARD on this…hiding in some bunker. I will vote for the man…WILLARD because he is better than the horror we face.

BTW…in case you did not hear…if Obamacare gets knocked out…according to Rush’s new source, Obama continue to fund/implement it. So much for three EQUAL branches of government. CONGRESS…WHERE ARE YOU?????????????????

  • This was the ONLY man that had the proof that his plan works…right Glenn…how you enjoying Texas these days. Can you tell the people about all the jobs…all the home building…lower insurance.

No…we’d rather listen to a bunch of loud mouth pundits tell us how to think. Don’t investigate the guy…just listen to what they say about him. FYI…while he was debating…he was in a back brace…why because he had his spine fused. Can you say pain? Yeh…and he got in because people wanted him because of his record. His back was healing and you will notice the debates got better. Has anybody ever been sick before. By the way…Glenn…how’s your back feeling these days.

  • My comments….Go Perry. I hope the heck you pull this thing out…you’re the real deal.

  • You self-righteous people. How you love to kick someone when they are down. Beck…you can keep you first year’s subscription to GBTV…I’m not interested in what you are peddling here. You of all people should have this blog pointing the finger at ANYONE. Should we look at you when you were lying on your shag rug…DRUNK…and then all laugh and say…look at me…how great I am…he‘s this and I’m that. None of you have the courage to do what Perry is doing today. So, here is what I blogged today:
I’ve thought about what Perry demonstrated on Meghan Kelly’s show and I would imagine the others, i.e., Greta and of all places, Letterman…God help him…it was COURAGE.

So, I compared Perry’s response to what I believe would be the other’s if they had the same experience and also what I would do.

My first reaction was flight….I would roll it up and get out. I guess that would show I didn’t have the perseverance to follow through…not to mention the courage to sit while the interviewer played my debate performance three of four times for me to see. I don’t know whether I would have it in me, but I have seen this type of behavior demonstrated in some of my heros. I believe to have someone take shots at you over and over again and to reply with dignity shows me that Perry has the character I believe he has. Again…here is the evidence…look at it.

None of the current candidate would do what Perry is doing today. He can save this country…he

  • Folks…this is not about what Herman did or did not do…It is about how he handled it. Again, dribs and drabs, no clear cut answer. This goes for just about anything that Cain says…it needs to be clarified because it is misunderstand. What is 999 anyway…or is it 909. I will tell you, it will tighten you belt concerning spending…and he’s doing this in a recession and this will support jobs…and this man graduated with a degree in Mathematics?? Apples and oranges don’t explain dollars and cents.

This thread is about Herman Cain. You Paulbots have gotten off the reservation

You wanted a person close to the ideology of Reagan…and Perry came along…and no…that was not good enough. You wanted someone with a JOBS plan…and no that was not good enough. In fact, he has the record to back it up. You wanted someone to lower the costs of healthcare (google Healthy Texas)….with tort reform and loser pays…and that was not good enough. You wanted someone to secure the border. States are not supposed to do it…but border states…NOT THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT have been coughing up the $$$ for it and Perry has done a good job with border security. Remember folks…the ENTIRE LEGISLATURE of Texas with the exception of four people voted for in-state tuition. Perry does not believe in amnesty nor does he believe in sanctuary cities or driver licenses to illegals. To further that…the Federal Government REQUIRES that all children of visa Illegals or Illegals be given education k-12. Look what happened in Alabama and check out FL who is currently being sued for in-state tuition backed by SOROS and SEIU. Perry is not for bailouts. He said that on O’Reilly last night. Europe’s problems are not ours to solve. We should not have to bail them out. The Fed sent them 16 trillion dollars secretly in the last financial crisis. He was not for TARP either.

Cain people…he’s a good guy…but I can’t pay a consumption tax on top of a federal sales tax and state income tax. His plan CONSTRICTS SPENDING….I won’t be buying…I’m done.

  • Perry did pretty good last night. I think we will find out more about Romney. If it is not obvious to all of you, Romney is a big tax and spend guy…we just get Obama with a different name. He likes everything centralized in DC…he’s still for government healthcare…only private insurers provide it rather than government…READ WHAT HE TOOK OUT OF HIS BOOKS..I.E. Santorum‘s remarks and Perry’s. Not only that…he likes nationalized education programs…endorsed..Race To The Top. If he is the nominee I will not vote for him…I will stay home…I did it with McCain for the GOP…but with Romney…he will finish off the GOP also. On top of all of it…the man is rude. While he might get the better of an argument…if he takes this attitude into foreign affairs…we’ll be in more wars..or more people will hate use.

Perry…He did not do bad. He does have a jobs plan that would people to work immediately. I notice that most of the candidates took Perry’s position about border control…except Bachmann…who wants a fence along the entire border. We’ve been talking about this for 35 years…not happened yet.
Should we begin with an energy program, we can put people to work immediately and they are not low paying jobs, although many of the service jobs that will be produced will be somewhat lower…but we get ENERGY INDEPENDENCE…and we get JOBS WITHOUT CONGRESS HAVING TO APPROVE IT. Money into our government. I have two choices..first – Perry…second – Ne

  • My take…Bachmann…we all know that Obama is a dipwit…so you don’t need to remind us. You are preaching to the choir in the debates. If it is the Dems you hope to have watching…if they are STILL for Obama..then you won’t change their minds. Bachmann could be a VP choice. Probably AH Romney because he needs the TPM.

Huntsman – didn’t show and is too liberal.
Santorum – is right with a lot of what he says…but does not have the appeal.
Paul – I like a lot of what Paul says but his foreign affairs on some things are too far out there.
Newt – Answered questions and would have liked to have heard more from him.

Now…it is obvious the CNN wanted a real fight going and so they pitted candidates against each other with questions. So…I will go with Cain first.
Cain – too many questions unanswered…how are you going to eliminate “hidden” taxes from raw goods to market place…Herman…micro-manage every company or form another committee in DC to watch over it. WE WANT WASHINGTON DC OUT OF OUR BUSINESS. Second of all, he tried to confused people…Perry hit the nail on the head, not Romney when he asked the question of how much more it was going to cost NH with his 999. Anyone that is on a fixed income (big voter block) will be hurt with this. I live int he same state as Herman…state sales tax, state income tax, and his 9%. I would be paying upwards to 25% on purchases…and that’s if Herman finds the hidden costs. Nope…it won’t happen.

  • I didn’t even have to read the entire article…of course they are in the government. While everyone is hyperventilating on Mexicans (I am white)…we have these people telling us what hoop to jump through and Obama is the head of the snake.

  • Well…I NEVER agree with Obama…except in this case he is right…Fox is the mouthpiece for Mitt Romney…so much for fair and balanced.
