  Hey, I have an idea – get the govt out of marriage. no one gets anything special – the issue goes away. Can we afford more people taking entitlements now? and yes I am married but would not have a problem with eliminating all the legislation that provides entitlements for married people. smaller govt now!

  I would like to thank all the entrepreneurs and job creators out there! You don’t hear these protesters complaining about the capitalists who gave them their iphones, laptops, facebook and twitter accounts and countless other products which created vast amounts of wealth and jobs for many individuals. I am personally thankful for the creators of my company who operate ethically, have created a great product, stay in business by keeping ahead of the competition and keep me gainfully employed. for those of us who are not built the way of the entrepreneur thanks again!

  love it – I am the 53% as well. Paid my way through college waiting tables – chose a college I could actually afford – no loans. started with a company and worked my way to a place where I am okay right now and feel blessed. No one did it for me, I put in long days and went to work when I was sick and work most of my vacations. there is no free lunch!

  Most ridiculous item I read today! I actually got a copy of The Declaration of Independence, The Constitution of the US, and The Constitution of NJ (yes New Jersey) when I graduated Middle School, now this was some time ago. Every school should be required to give students a copy at some point in their elementary school career.

  I just purchased a car in August and went with a Honda for this very reason! I was going to go Ford but wanted to show some support for Japan and plus Honda’s are pretty good cars. I am so disappointed Ford caved like they did.

  Seems to me the progressives are the ones who want to go back in time. They want to eliminate all coal, oil, gas energy sources. Eliminate any type of industry they don’t like. Take our cars away, our air conditioners away, etc. They would be happy if we (not them) we all were living in caves or cold dark houses and the world had 2/3 less people then it does today – ahh progress!
