  He did not “shrug it off,” carelessly. It was brave and knew what was coming (or not). He didn’t bend in the end, and just because you find that outlook hopeless doesn’t imply that there exists an afterlife.

  There isn’t a god. Honestly how can anyone proclaim this to be a miracle considering over two hundred people lost their lives? Between the tsunami in Japan, the rebellions in Egypt and elsewhere, and the sheer fact that this storm ended numerous lives, how can you say this is a miracle?

  Actually, most of these countries (Sweden and Denmark in particular) are very secular. In fact, Sweden and Denmark are home to some of the highest rates of organic atheism (Sweden being around 70% of the population).

  Hows the gun control working? Well if you take a look at the gun crime rates of the Netherlands, Sweden, Switzerland, Denmark, Norway you will see that these countries have extremely low gun crime rates. In fact, there quality of life is pretty much better all across the board. Less poverty, less illiteracy, fewer abortions (better sex ed), lower crime rates and a better standard of living.

  Correct. But crime rates in the US drastically overshoot crime rates in many northern and western European countries.
