  • Soybom,

Your daughter is going to end up with one or the other wife beaters. I think if that inevitability is plain then she would want a choice as to which one she goes home with.

Staying out of an election because your candidate is not on the ballot is a lazy, ignorant cop out.

  • If I were West I would make this same concession. Is numbers only add up to about $18B annually in savings for wasteful government spending but I think if the congress hears the American People and cuts things like EPA, OHSA, USDA, FCC, Dep. Of Energy, Dep Of Ed, all parks programs, all medical research programs, etc. you will find there will be no need to raise taxes as there would be a surplus that would put our debt down relatively quickly.

  • As a consumer I have yet to visit an airport that didn’t have a restroom available. Were these men unable to get to one inside the airport near one of the terminals? Having a restroom every 30 sec-1 min walk is kind of ridiculous to me. I work out on the tarmac it might take me ( a big boned person) a bit of time to walk the distance to the main terminal and restrooms. Sounds like they had to clock out for extended breaks and didn’t want to do that ever time they had to tinkle.

  • I would want someone to step in and help my daughter as well. As a business owner I wouldn‘t want to deal with the legal pill of poo that would have come had the husband kick Young’s teeth in. Or from the husband had Young over did it. I can understand the business’ position in this litigious society. What the husband did was wrong and needed stopping. If that is where this would normally end then I’m all for it. I just don’t think it did end there.

  • Why does every article no matter of content on this website elicit comments about Obama. Does he permeate every aspect of every life so thoroughly that all we can do is mention him at every turn. I’d kind of like to make him a non-subject until his defeat in Nov.

  • This has great implications for volatile environments. For custom door locks. For surgery, automotive diagnostics, plasma engines, manufacturing, warehousing and the list goes on.

Remove the “ball” as the only object controlled and see what you can come up with.

  • I’m with truth or consequences.

Making restaurants pay larger wages and raise their food rates would mean that the incentive for better service is removed and thus service quality will drop. I routinely tip25-30% for good service and 0-5% for poor service. I look at waiting, bellhop, concierge, etc as commissioned sales jobs. The better you perform the better your salary. You as the employee are in charge of your own monetary benefits.

If flat increases are added to food prices then the new guy who brings me a burger instead of a salad makes just as much as the waiter who brought everything right and timely. Not fair at all to either party. One will be rewarded for ineptitude and the other penalized for performance.

  • @ little big man

We do NOT need a law stating licensed carry holders can carry in all 50 states. We need to come to grips with the 2nd amendment and realize all of us have the right to carry where ever we want. Especially in schools, public buildings and the like. More gun laws are not what we need.

Read the bible. It is full of instruction about how to live a good, clean life. There are many instances where biblical instruction kept people from having to deal with disease (much like the major killers in the civil war) as well as civility issues which are still present today. Additionally rational logical people can’t argue with the numbers. AIDS is so much more prevalent among gays that I have to refer to Romans 1:27 where Paul writes …and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, men with men committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error. AIDS crossed over through heterosexual interactions with those who received their due penalty.

Don’t mistake me. I believe in “hate the sin and love the sinner”. All can be forgiven through God all you need do is ask forgiveness. Like a parent who is trying to teach their child not to do something because their are negative consequences (remember “stove is hot”) God laid out consequences for abandoning the natural function of heterosexual interactions. Touch hot stove and get a scar for life that will remind you of your error of not listening to your parent. Dick in butt and you will get a disease that will scar you for life that will remind you of your error of not listening to your heavenly parent. Plain & Simple.

Wonderful Government oversight has made it part of international maritime law that no firearms can be transported on the ships. It is not that these people don’t want to exercise their rights to bare arms. They are forbidden by law.

And a shower curtain pumping out that amount of volume is amazing. Have you ever been on the receiving end of a pressure washer?
