  @Ecinom Many times I do agree with your assessment of the lies about reality perpetrated by religion. However, you are quite wrong about the tea party, and this shows your ignorance in a really pitiful way. To suggest for a second any faction of the tea party are not patriots.. and generalize them as bigoted racists is proof of your herded perspective…. How is it that, although I am an atheist, I still respect the tea party and have pretty much 0 consideration for OWS? because I think for myself and know the facts and don’t abide by the media lies and liberal protocols

  Jews have very sanctimonious and ritualistic ways that we deal with death but it is very specific in that death is something to ignore. We get our dead in the ground asap and we don’t allow open caskets.. See your loved one dead is avoided as much as possible. Following burial we also are prohibited to returning to visit the grave for one year. the memory of the person is always in life. We are not concerned with going to heaven or hell in general. We are concerned with doing mitzvote which is our central theme. It doesn’t matter what you personally believe in terms of god as a jew, it is that as a jew you do mitzvote.. Thus, if not for Christianity, no badass exorcism movies! Hells yea!
