  Motherof18: Really? The law is the law? What if the school district forced your 18 kids to learn and do things that are morally and spiritually repugnant to you or to have unnecessary innoculations that could be dangerous to their health, but technically they are in the boundaries of the law? And if you didn’t comply, they would take your kids away? Is the law still the law then? Incidentally, the Palatine Germans which make up the Amish communities in America came here long before we were a country. You can’t begin to compare them to the moslems. Further, the Amish haven’t changed. We have. As for the “fanny flags” as the farmers call them, on the carriages, while I agree that they should have some kind of reflective item on the carriages, all they have to do is make one in white or some color that will comply with their beliefs but will still reflect. I don’t think putting the Amish men in jail for this offense is correct. Frankly, I am surprised that the ACLU would even offer to represent a sect of Christianity.

  God bless the Poles. They know only too well what an empire bent on destroying not only Jews but themselves as well is capable of, and they have the scars and the infrastructure left behind in their nation to prove it (Auschwitz-Birkenau, Belzec, Chelmno, Majdanek, Sobibor and Treblinkato). Remember the Warsaw Ghetto? The Poles didn’t do that. It was that young Austrian guy over the border with his “final solution” who cooked that idea up. To the guy who said we are not like Europe, what did you mean exactly? Are you implying that we are not capable of anti-semetism in America? Really? We who are devout Christians love and respect our Jewish brothers and sisters, but it appears to me with the growing anti-zionist movement in America, that there are groups in America who aren’t exactly in love with the Jews-and that scares me to death.

  I don’t know why anyone should be surprised. Solis is an Obamabot, and she has been taught, like all good Marxists, to lie as she goes along. Another sterling example is a certain head of our Homeland Security, Tough guy Janet Napolitano. I can’t bring myself to look at or listen to that woman as she is so revolting, so moronic and so incompetent that she almost defies description. But they all Obamabots pledge total allegiance to “The One” and they have learned well from Joseph Goebbels (if you tell a lie long enough, people will start to believe it). This administration believes our constitution is irrelevant and that, folks, is a problem.

  I agree with puritandude. I’m a woman but if I saw a guy beating a kid like, husband or stranger, I would be on his back scratching his eyes out to make him stop. In what reality would any moron think it‘s a good idea to set up which a fight between one’s own kid and another? Who the heck is the adult here? That guy belongs in jail and his kids should be taken away from him.
