  i can state w/pride i didn’t vote for him. I got the impression he was not a man of honor or ethics pretty quickly. I was willing to be proven wrong, hoped I would be, but my impressions were dead on.
  He’s proven who he is & now people are starting to actually listen to his words,observe his actions & see the same thing a lot of us saw during the campaign. Sometimes it sucks to be correct.

  Before I start I have a disclaimer – I’m Spanish/Black/and lots of other stuff. :)
  1st of all this man does NOT speak for the tea party. I would dare to submit he falsely stated he was a member of the tea party. No one I’ve met at any rally would tolerate this blatant mis-representation of what the tea party stands for. Me thinks the man uttered many falsehoods.

  2nd, I attended the S. Central Tea Party event. I saw nothing but positive, impassioned speakers who are trying to have their voices heard, and expose the originally well-intentioned but horribly gone awry NAACP. I must also point out though the attendance was small, there was a balanced representation of white, black, asian, it was wonderfully heartening (but not unusual) to see. I met wonderful, enthusiastic, intelligent people who came together as Americans.

  As the event was wrapping up & people were leaving a few of us were interviewed and asked specifically “did you see any racism here? We were able to say without equivocation ‘no-no racism.’ I was able to share I attended 8/28 & the 8/29 tea party where I was a citizen speaker, and reaffirm I‘ve never experienced racism at any tea parties I’ve attended. I think this guy showed up at the very end of the event and drew attention to himself because he was the only one who raised his voice though there were a number people around him, but I was to far away to hear if there was any back & forth. I think he was the only racist the

  ..don’t waste your time or positive energy. My grandmother taught me ‘don’t sink to their level’. Doing there what they do here just validates & encourages their negativity. It’s just not worth it. Eventually every child throwing a temper tantrum calms down. Right now they‘re screaming like frustrated children and all they’ve got is name calling, insults and surly behavior. Again, just not worth wasting your time.

  Funny, I do the same thing w/AARP. Though I’m not retirement age I keep getting crap from them. Everytime I have to call to get my info removed from their contact list I tell them I REFUSE to do any busines with a company that supported Obama/care. Witholding dollars gets more attention than ranting (at least it works for me). :)
