  What a sad commentary on the state of affairs in Minneapolis, in particular the Toys for Tots story. Ironic that the Marines do all this great work, and are fighting Muslims overseas, while their bretheren are taking advantage of America’s goodwill. What I don’t comprehend is how everyone gets welfare. I’m from Canada, married an American 30 yrs. ago, and I remember signing papers that I could not ever ‘go on the dole’.

  Less than 30 min ago I read the original article online, comments and all, and then ten minutes later all the comments were gone…mmm. Also, tell me why not one person was arrested? If I went into a mall and caused such havoc, I’d be arrested for disturbing the peace, reckless endangerment, destruction of private property and God knows what else. Oh, and I love that brainiac they interviewed…duh…it was fun! There has to be alot more video and photos out there. The local police ought to request folks post them, then start arresting these thugs. Let them spend a few hours in the klink, fine them and make them do community service.

  DHL simply couldn’t compete on a national basis…heartbreaking for the people of Wilmington, but certainly part of the free market race to the top. What really disgusts me are the thousands of American companies that CHOSE to shut down factories throughout the country…and we sat by and allowed all this to happen! This is a national disgrace that the media has ignored for years. We heard about ‘outsourcing’ and shouted about Customer Service Reps th/ could barely speak English. I personally experienced dozens of calls about my mortgage from a TX company, and ended up speaking w/ folks from India who were obviously reading from a planner…they all said exactly the same thing! I became angry, insisted on speaking w/ a Texan, and was tranferred back to the U.S. That saved them money?? I’m also angry about the Made in China logo on just about everything I buy these days. And everything breaks!
  Let‘s ask the CEO’s of these companies EXACTLY why they have outsourced American jobs. We know it is about money…however, how did we go wrong? Too much government regulation? Union benefits cost too much? Taxes, health care, pensions…what? Whatever the issue…let’s face it America, and work it out. It’s time to get back to work.

  On Nov. 22nd, outside of San Diego, a 4 wk old puppy was rescued from a dumpster outside a Target Store…his ears had been cut off! What is going on here? Google…puppy w/ ears cut off…it’s shocking. The consequences for such actions are minimal, to say the least, and it’s time the justice system in this country started enacting serious consequences for these monsters. These people are psychopathic sadists who enjoy inflicting pain, anywhere, anytime. For now, we fine them, they may get a few months in jail, and then they’re released…so, what’s the recidivism rate? Probably close to 100%. Their anger and rage knows no boundaries. How can we stop this insanity and keep these psychos off the streets?

  This is a pure manifestation of how dangerous and outright stupid international treaties are…giving up your national sovereignty and laws to a gaggle of multi-culturalist, anti-capitalist morons at the U.N. or other agencies.
  It’s frightening that as many as 43% oppose a plan to deport foreigners convicted of a serious felony or benefits fraud! Perhaps the Swiss ought to tax only those 43% to pay for court costs and the free ride these folks are getting at the expense of the taxpayer. You want them…you pay for them!

  Just over a yr. ago we lost our beloved Holly. She passed away in her sleep. Her son, Buddy Love, who looks almost identical to Spot, was heart broken. We had her covered in a blanket…Buddy threw off the blanket and started to lick (kiss) and lick her, whining and crying. At first I was shocked, then I realized it was his time to mourn, his way. After about 15 minutes, he walked away. 3 months later we bought a 3 month old puppy, and he adores her.

  RU…you’re so right about BUY AMERICAN. I needed to buy 2 electric toggle switches today. The originals, from 1992, were made in the U.S.A, and I specifically searched for American made. I was at Wal Mart, for it’s the only place to purchase such merchandise w/in a 20 mi. radius of our town…our little hardware store went out of business 8 months ago together w/ about 15 other small stores. All Wal Mart sold was GE, Made in China. The toggles were about $3.00 each, but I would have purchased American Made for $3.50, about 20% more. And having to buy a GE product? Ouch! Perhaps if more people started to to demand U.S. manufactured goods from their retailers, we could get this country back on track. I’m going to email Wal Mart about this, like it will do alot of good; however, if everyone were do to the same, who knows?

  My husband is a 100% Disabled Veteran…a Special Forces Medic during the Vietnam War. Many people don’t realize that his Disability is also tied to the Social Security COLA, and we don’t receive the $250. Also, do u know that the COLA does NOT include food or energy? That right my friends. During the past 2 yrs., during wh/ the bleeding heart Dems have controlled Congress, Disabled Veterans and Seniors in our country are struggling just to put food on their tables. These are folks th/ have contributed both to Social Security and Veterans whose lives have been devasted by fighting for our country. Libs care less.
