  • It is the custom in Europe to kiss. Even guys do it. We are too homophobic in this country.

  • What I couldn’t believe is that even after miraculously not loosing a limb after the repeated snaps by the gator, the scientist didn’t have the where with all to flee. Where was his instinct to get away from potential death? This man wouldn’t last the night in the wild.

  • Wow, if more of us were like Lizzie, the world would be just about perfect. She makes me hang my head in shame when I worry about a laugh line. Thank you Lizzie for being truly insprirational.

  • Baikonur, You talk about the rights of the mother, but not of the unborn child – a child that has all the rights of the mother and is totally helpless to boot. It is easy to disregard something that you cannot yet hold nor see, but that child is every bit a human being as is the mother that holds the unborn baby’s life in her hands.

  • We need to remember that if gay marriage is allowed in these states then it will open another door for individuals who will sue clergy if they ar unwilling to perform marriages for gay couples. The will sue using the anti-discrimination anti-hate laws currently being enacted in many states as justification for the lawsuit. It will be another sword in the heart of religious institutions in this country.

  • I lived in Asia as a child and saw many customs that are strange to us. The babies are dropped with care. It is not something I would do, but I would not call these people evil. It is their custom and we need to respect that.

Now the Malaysian women who beat her infant (another Blaze video). That is something that should never be allowed.

  • I have to believe that the young mother is insane because to believe that she would beat her child in this manner is inconceivable to me. I wept for this young child – a babe of complete innocence.

  • Your point has always been a real thorn in my side with Beck. He always says question with boldness, but when it comes to the birth certificate or the concept of “natural born citizen” and dual citizenship Beck is completely silent. I take that back, he actually ridicules those who question the authenticity of the BC that has been paraded on the internet, a BC that has been repeatedly denounced as being a fake. Shame on Beck for his attack on people who ARE questioning with boldness and need answers.

  • Nancy said that she felt the ban on gay marriage is a form of discrimination and is unconstitutional. Therein lies the main thrust of how they will try to put a sword in the heart of any religion that teaches that gay marriage is wrong and cannot be allowed. They will sue any religious organization that refuses to perform gay marriages stating that these organizations are violating the anti-discrimination laws that are currently being passed all over the country. They are setting up the framework to be able to cry foul when our clergy decides that they will not perform gay marriages because they believe it is wrong.

Nancy Pelosi is a Catholic in name only. (CINO)

  • This is a touching story. What I would like families to remember is that the elderly sometimes feel abandoned in a nursing home. Yes the ipod with music is great, but so is having family around to care for the elderly. I know that I will do whatever I can to care for my parents at home rather than putting them in a nursing home. I speak from experience as my father is in the advanced stages of Parkinson’s and my mother is caring for him at home even though she has full nursing home insurance coverage. He is thriving.
