Yeah mahn! The Catholics are going to Hell because Ah read their book the Bahble to which Ah wouldn‘t have if not for the Catholics telling me wut Scriptures were true and which weren’t. Sorry bub, your KJV didn’t fall out of the sky one Sunny Sunday afternoon post-1950. If not for the Catholic Church, you’d probably be reading Gnostic pleroma/30Aeons/nonsense as your current Holy Book.

  • That’s right heathen! Plato, Aristotle, Socrates, Augustine, Thomas Aquinas are all wrong! NEVER MIND the FACT that Plato is more or less the BEDROCK of Western philosophy. But I forgot, he never lived to be schooled by a distinguished and well reknowned intellect such as yourself. But, you know what? I’ll take you on your offer and prove how absurd your thought process is. I believe in myself as the sole authority of what is good and right and anything that contradicts me, my actions, or myself ought to be be considered a deviation from what the standard that I have set. Anything that is in contradiction to good is evil and thus must be eliminated for it is faulty or a malfunction. You, having a different notion of “good” for you believe yourself to be the absolute embodiment of good, attempt to say that your demise would in effect be bad, however, I believe it would not, for your good is not authoritatively binding as my good or ‘god’ is myself and thus there is no higher standard of good for you to appeal to as dictated by your own “logic” of believing in oneself rather than “fairy tales in the sky” (something only a person with six-year old’s understanding of basic theology would say). However, a scenario where every man is his own “god” is not tenable or even rooted in reality for everyone has always appealed to a standard or authority greater than themselves (unless they were heathen psychopaths).

liberals don’t think, they emote. I mean, so do fundies, but good grief, the heathen Left is always rambling on about how much more sophisticated they are, so I’d expect them to have read the WHOLE article which as you so eloquently point out in a semi St. Irenaeus / St. Jerome fashion, that Sasha Grey has not made repentance in that she defended her sinful actions.

You see, when I first saw this thread, I figured that I would hammering Fundies for not reading the whole article and being fire-and-brimstone “no one outside my shack in the boonies is saved” Bible Thumper and instead they took the rational and thoughtful position and judged rightly (which means a snowball must’ve gotten half-way through Hell before it melted, but hey it was a nice surprise nontheless).

I‘m glad that Sasha’s no longer doing the porn thing, but she needs to purge herself of it completely if she is ever able to enter the Kingdom of Heaven.

  • You don’t need to tell me, brother! I KNOW we have lots of issues with liberal heterodoxy!

  • Oh Good Grief, yet another stupid comment by a heterodox priest to rile up the Bible Thumpers and have them get their bolts in a twist. I’d tell our more eccentric separated brethren to actually read material written by the Pope, but I know Fundamentalists hate books translated to something that isn’t King James English.

I pray that the Exodus of the Church will be over within my lifetime, preferably sooner than later.

  • We wanna handout! I have a better idea. Stop whining and think you’re owed something. If your parents were charitable, good for them. If you feel that your charity or tithes are being used contrary to the purpose you believe they should be used for, then by all means, switch to something else.

  • Can I redistribute yours?

  • Lead through example please.

  • Thanks for volunteering. I‘m glad that you’ve decided to take an oath of poverty and live off the bare essentials of what’s needed to keep a person alive. Your sacrifice wil be remembered as the guy who practiced what he preached.

  • Mary isn’t the Mother of God? Then who is? What are you, a NESTORIAN? Good grief, Heresy only seems to produce more Heresy. For All that is Sacred and Holy, read a book on Church history, “preacher”. How can you lead anyone if you dig up 2nd century heresies because you don’t learn from history? Yeah, you bang out Bible verses, but so does Satan; why should I take your word over a Presbyterian’s? Why should I subject myself to his personal interpretation over MY OWN. Think about that. THINK LONG AND HARD.
