  • Cain Denies Report of Sexual Harassment

    In reply to Veritas.

They thought it worked on Clarence Thomas……

Guess they really are trying to see what they could possibly come up with that “sticks”…

    Smacks of absolute desperation……

Wow…. The Clarence Thomas approach? Seriously?

  • Undecided….

I advocated nothing specifically in my post. I did point out what would be the real world implications of the policies advocated by your cult.

We should be limiting the scope of the Fed’s authority so that price stability is the sole objective. With a frank recognition of population growth, GDP growth, the velocity multiplier (the frequency and rate of exchange), and asset values this can be achieved. In fact, it would make the Fed’s activities rather boring.

Our nation does not need a shock of an unnecessary transition right now. Haven’t we all suffered enough yet?

We need price stability and fiscal prudence, NOT economic suicide……

  • Wants a ‘return to the constitution’?

He HAS signed a pledge to impose a FEDERAL ban on abortions……

I am certainly not an advocate for the practice BUT where, exactly, in the constitution is the federal government, generally, or the office of the President, specifically, granted THAT authority?

  • No…. I didn’t forget. I thought that a confrontation on this ONE issue was warranted by the cult’s heckling….

There are several issues, including his tactically suicidal foreign policy, that have led me to the realization that Paul should not ever be in the white house….. (Yes, that means barring him from the tours as well…LOL)

  • Does the ‘Cult of Paul’ actually realize the ‘real world’ implications of the policies that they are advocating?

Let’s consider some. If one ‘ends the federal reserve’ and ‘returns to the gold standard’ it establishes a FIXED money supply.

Consider population growth, GDP growth, a FIXED money supply and FIXED terms of current debt obligations…….

Wages would decline each year. The value of assets would decline. But the terms and principal of debt obligations would remain FIXED……

Effectively this IMPOSES an annual interest rate INCREASE, in real dollars, on every currently existing loan be it credit cards, mortgages, corporate debt or the national debt. If you wish to refinance any of your debt obligations…. Good luck…. the assets backing them are declining in value as is nominal compensation.

It would seem that Paul’s cult has quite thought this demand through………

  • O’Reilly like many at fox, seem content only to their doctrinaire perspective of “big tent conservatism”….

That is, unless it includes Ron Paul or those who support him. One may take offense, but I don’t see the point. News organizations are not representatives of a marketplace they are instead filters of a LIMITED perspective.

Dr. Paul isn‘t representative of the FOX or the O’Reilly perspective filter, and so is mocked as outlandish or fringe.

The American people may disagree but THAT fact, will not change the adherents. They will persist as they have, convinced of their perspective’s veracity, regardless…..

So let them. Leave them to their own decisions as to coverage and let the results prove them in error.

  • Only someone who actually is racist would consider skin color, probative. To assume that, to Republicans, skin color matters, is to assume all or even many Republicans are racists. I have had NO such interactions which would support that hypothesis, but that you have assumed such a condition IS telling.

Please endeavor to investigate your own assumptions…..

  • Thank you for NOT running another distorted “hit piece” on Herman Cain. Very few who run for political office in the United States are, in fact, individuals of character and principle. The media generally characterize such individuals as “crackpots” or “naive”. Lately it would appear that “The Blaze” would also fall into such a category. I appreciate the change.

  • Senate Passes Debt Deal

I would like to thank these spineless Republicans for doing a role call. Now we KNOW exactly who they are.

Now we can take the opportunity to see them no longer entrusted with our REPRESENTATION….

We have a list. Let’s use it.
