  My grandmother was in the final throes of Alzheimer’s, in a nursing home; unable to even remember how to use crayons and a coloring book. Then, the nursing home started having music and social dancing on Thursday afternoons. It took everything we had to get my grandmother to even attend these social gatherings, but all of a sudden she was asked to dance by one of the other residents and she began to dance with him! I will never forget how wonderful those Thursday afternoons were for her and all of us after that. She smiled. She was happy for a few hours. The power of music….the power of caring.

  So true….I keep trying to watch Fox; however, they have really sunk low. All those really good anchors and journalists seem to be flushed down Fox’ toilet. Fox owes America an apology for participating in our demise.

  Romney and Gingrich have been shoved down our throats long enough. Please stand up and vote for true conservatives, Santorum and Paul. The GOP wants Romney to have it because he bought it, not because they care about our Republic. They have you convinced Romney is the only one who can win against Obama…..not true if we patriots who care about our country STAND UP AND VOTE!

  Santorum is a good man. Paul is a good man. Together they might be able to right our ship and take us out of this horrid mess created by Obama. Talk to just one friend, talk to just one neighbor about the issues and about the help we need to set our country right again. Help them get to the polls to vote.

  I do admire Eric Bolling (and the parents who raised him) and I do enjoy the different venues he has been appears on. That said, I also enjoy “The Five” especially because of Eric and his fellow hosts, even Bob Beckel. It has taken me years to come to the point where I could take Beckel with a grain of salt, but I finally am able to. I enjoy listening to his point of view in the hope I will learn something I have not known until now.

  All that said, I especially enjoy Dana, Greg and the other “hosts” who help make this program a hit in the middle of a dry afternoon. I have to thank Fox for bringing us Eric, Greg and especially Dana. She never comes across as a “know it all” and her presentations are always given in good taste, something sorely lacking in the main stream media. Her remarks are generally well prepared and I always learn something from her. Same goes for Greg. His “spin” is absolutely refreshing. The other girls are really interesting also.

  I certainly hope Eric enjoys a very long run on Fox Business Network; I wish the Business Network came with Fox News as a package on TV, but I can usually catch up on some of the Business news on line.

  Thank you again Fox for Eric and the rest of your genuine stars. Thank you Glen Beck for the staff you chose from The Blaze to write this touching article. Good Job!

  Obama is a card-carrying member of the DEMOCRATIC SOCIALISTS OF AMERICA PARTY. I think that means he is a socialist. I feel he is truly a communist who realized the only way he could be elected to office was to join the Democratic Socialists of America Party. So, sorry Socialists. You gave him membership and now you have to own him.

  NW Montana here. Belong to small phone and internet cooperative in the mountains. We were taken down this morning also (DSL). In desperation, I finally clicked on “Tools” in right upper corner of internet screen and clicked on the prompt “Reopen last browsing session.” Bam….I got on line, but the site was MSNBC! I have never knowingly logged on to MSNBC in my life. Does Time-Warner own MSNBC? If so, that was really scary. Site is back up and running now. That has never happened to me before.

  Okay kiddo’s – History lesson on cleaning: When our ancestors colonized America (and probably before that) many had rugs on their floors. They had brooms, but no vacuum cleaners. Alas! Each winter they rolled up the rugs and hung them outside to FREEZE. Dirt has moisture in it. When the dirt would freeze, they would beat the rugs and off would fly the dirt with the ice. They swept the floors and brought the rugs back in and put them back down. (No water.)

  Fast Forward to 20th Century: I own many type of “jeans” and wash them weekly IN COLD WATER AND WOOLITE or any good cold water soap, of which I use very little because I also add baking soda to the wash water. In the winter I very rarely have to wash my jeans because I hang them on the clothesline and let them freeze. I then give them a good beating and off comes the dirt and ice crystals. WOW. I know a lot of you live in the south, but you can use your freezers.

  Our forefathers were pretty smart when it came to cleaning. I am probably old enough to be a mother to most of you on this site and have been doing this for more years than most of you have lived. WASTE NOT, WANT NOT (whether it is water you are talking about or anything else for that matter). I have not had to buy a pair of “jeans” for over 15 years.

  I have been asking Fox, FoxNation, and yes, even The Blaze to report on this for weeks. Not a word out of any of them. Read the bill in the House right now, H.S.1505 that establishes the DSH/ICE authority over any other Federal, State, or local authority in the 100 mile zone. I live in that zone along our northern border. I certainly do not want a bunch of Nazi thugs invading my home. Please contact your Representative/Congressman to vote this bill down. We need to defund the DSH/TSA because of these thug tactics. The bill has been going through committees and will be voted on soon. Please contact Washington.

  On a second note: The communications shutdown of 11/09/11 is another power grab. Think for a moment: If this was about an outside terrorist attack on the U.S. you would think our government would want us to be able to communicate – after all, we are armed and could mount a greater resistance. I fear this is about being attacked from inside by our own govt. Obama’s ego is definitely out of bounds and on a rampage along with Holder and J. Napolitano. Heaven help us.
