  I’ve worked in a grocery store when times have been tough and let me tell you I would never refuse a person coming in to pay with coins; you may have even gotten fired for doing something like that. Both of these stores should train the employees to have respected for the paying customer be it cash, check. coin, debit/credit card, EBT or WIC. A paying customer is still a paying customer. That woman will not be going back to both of those stores for a long time since she has been humiliated. Before you know it they will be telling you that you have to purchase a certain dollar amount of groceries to shop in a store. Give me a break already.

  I am finding that most of us that were earning $100K and up are having the most difficult time finding proper employment. I lost my job Sept. 2008 and have been working for a 1/4 of what I used to make but I am glad to be doing something rather than than living off of others.

  What a moron, if everyone thought like this there would be no businesses in the world. Most small businesses open with little to no capital and will hire more people once the operation is making a profit. Businesses are open from ideas and passion for success. No one takes on more employees if they may need to lay them off. More taxes means less people that businesses can hire or keep on staff. Basic Economics.
